Amazing, but given the expensive NJ property tax it would need to be in another state. In NJ you'd pay $200,000, in NY $80,000, and LA $60,000 a year for this home. NJ just doesn't make sense.

Nice but there is a but, for 10 million the living room is very small. A cat walk would have made the space look and feel bigger. Still a nice home

This home started at 13.9 million in 2016, looks like a new build. Its close to nyc, i wonder what price point will someone buy it? The company or owner probably lost quite some money having it sit and pay property taxes, insurance, upkeep for 7 years.

Well, I am not surprised that this monster has stood empty and for sale since 2016. Even with a $4 million price cut it will probably still not sell. This is way too much house for anyone especially in Alpine which is not exactly "party central". Alpine is a remote, exclusive enclave inconvenient to reach and not near anything else of interest. Sure, it would make sense in Florida or near a luxury ski resort like Aspen but not here. The cost of ownership in New Jersey is astronomical as well. I can't imagine who would be an interested party. If this home were in Boca Raton or something like that, it would be worth 5 to 10 times this price. IMO-this is just a white elephant.
