If your in the city there’s no need of car in Toronto that’s the biggest savings but for a tiny place like this $2200 is a lot btw this apartment will depreciate too, like it or not apartment prices don’t go up like houses specially this is just a bachelor loft not even a couple can live here. Making $100k and this lifestyle is only suitable for a single person not a family and that is scary

Hard to say when people now adays having less and less kids. And there is almost no condo new start after these few years. And you have only one downtown. Where there is infinite expension for detached and townhouse. Plus small space living is such a huge trend right now. New generation think different nowadays. They travel alot . Hop around cities . Detached houses is the one at risk especially anti immigration sentiment grows and declining population become real. Look at Japan only the heart of Tokyo sustain the value over the last 30 years. The rest just crash

@ you are wrong, more and more people are leaving DT because off are vacant properties also the condo market has completely collapsed and we don’t see people moving to DT rather than going out of town.

@@misscappuccino5920 its a temporary phenomenon a transition because of work from home trend. But the greater longer term trend is that people will eventually gravitate towards the city . And another portion of people with family might gravitate towards smaller town when automated cars become mainstreM. The suburb close to the city is at risk

I personally would rent a similar space vs. buying a shoe box like this which sees very little potential of appreciation.

what she’s paying on a condo, which will rise in value, he’s paying for a car, which starts depreciating as he drives it off the lot. 🤣

She is probably going to need to pay more taxes, unless she doesn't report all her income. Also, the condo has no property taxes, condo fees and insurance?
@mgalvez821912 сағат бұрын
I think she said $300 maintenance. And the rest, Yes that was missed, taxes and insurance! And the food for $400, what kind of food is she eating?
