I am not keen on grid tie in systems, power companies will be more and more reluctant to pay customers what their power is worth. Off grid power as well as having the ability to charge a car is the way to go. No more electric bill and gasoline bill.

Could you make a video about what people living in apartments could do? Sure I don’t expect an apartment setup to power everything, but I’m just wondering if there’s a way to at least decrease the power bill.

2 cents... I believe technology is getting to abilities using thin and flexible panels... even clear ones that could cover windows someday? But unfortunately you're limited to small panels in southern facing windows and whatever on a patio if available. Random idea... it'd be cool if an apartment building was mostly covered with an outer skin of sorts that'd generate electricity for eco minded tenants.
