Waste of time, tourist trap. First there is the airport like security and commando soldiers everywhere. They will charge you a lot more if you are a foreigner (unless you’re Chinese) and half the exhibits are closed. None of this was listed on the website btw and the unprofessional staff were unhelpful and rude if you ask any questions. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Come on Ethiopia do better.

Well ive been there twice and I hate to say it but most of what you said is a lie, first off the staff were super welcoming infact we paid the least amount possible which is 200 birr(you don't get a tour guide for that amount) but the tour guides let us tag along anyways and they were showing us around...and secondly foreigners pay more than the locals for the visit,it's not decided by the staff there but it's the organizations rule...and third the airport like security there is because the prime minister's residence is also in the same compound....
