WOW! This is a pleasant surprise from Touring Talkies. The BEST REVIEWER is interviewed by the BEST INTERVIEWER. This is a coup of some sort. Thank you, Mr CL for interviewing Mr BR. We can see mutual admiration and mutual respect from both sides. I remember the times when I used to wait for the Friday Review supplement of The Hindu newspaper to read the reviews by Mr BR. What a command over the language, he has! I learnt a lot of new English words from his reviews. Have always looked up to him for the flow of words when he writes. Great admiration for both of you, how you both have mastered in your respective fields. Keep up the good work and we the loyal followers will keep seeing your works. Thank you once again.

Very interesting series. Two of the best in the field. Agree with Baradwaj Rangan that Chitra Lakshmanan Sir has done a commendable job of archiving many interesting facts of cinema , cine - artistes and technicians through his work over the years especially through the youtube intetviews. The interview was very insightful about BR's thought processes while reviewing a film. Loved the nuggests of information he provoded about KB Sir, Mani Ratnam and Kamalahasan. Loved his empathy towards first - time directors and his concern for small budget films from new directors getting no opportunity to emerge when producers are more intent on producing big budget films with big stars. Loved his non- judgemental and candid views on social media influencers. Could understand when he says print media is restricted in the sense the interviewer cannot present an interview without bringing in his own perspective and the media itself leaves a lot to the reader's imagination whereas the video format is more visual, the viewer can have different interpretations noticing the body language & mannerisms of the interviewer and interviewee and can have myriad perspectives/ takeaways. Overall loved the whole series of 6 parts. On a lighter note, of late in KZbin we have seen BR intervew Gopinath, CL interview BR , so can we expect GN intetviewing CL next to complete the circle? Interviewers getting interviewed seems to be the trend these days 😊.
