£60 for laundry was a bargain! We took a weekend package deal to Paris. On the way back to the coach my partner wanted to stop to buy a souvenir ( a key ring). By the time we got back to the coach, it was gone. We had to get a taxi to the airport but due to farmers strikes we couldn’t get through so we missed the plane. Staff at the airport were fantastic and got us on a flight to Birmingham (we’d departed from Gatwick where our car was). We had to hire a car and decided to stop at home for the night and pick up our car the next day. When we got home we realised the house keys were in the car so we had to stay with friends. Next day we pick up our car from Gatwick and finally got home. That 6 euro souvenir (cost us over £200 in taxi fares and hire car!

Restobrite for uv affected thermoplastics, search the Internet for the ingredients, I succeeded in removing the yellowing from the ABS spacer between the steel roof and the popup frame on a Marina based Suntor campervan that I owned in the earlier 2000s. The restobrite also transformed a few old desktop PC cases that I'd bought from a company where everyone smoked. And that was before the workplace ban on smoking in a workplace. I have 600w solar and 400AH solar. I don’t use it really (LED lights, charge phone / iPad and Truma Gas heater) but even so it is dire in the winter or stormy weather like now and can see battery level going down and down.

PS I’m so glad to see you use the plug in correctly. So many people jam them in with the flap on the socket bent back the wrong way, which causes all sorts of problems, down the line. Some of them even come back to me, expecting me to replace the broken socket or worse, melted inlet, at my own expense! NOT happening! I give very clear instructions, including a laminated series of photographs, showing how to use them correctly and if you ignore that, that’s on you! Nice to see someone who pays attention.

I got a £60 charge to stop and get some fish and chips. You will probably know it, the 2x chip shops next to the Esso in Combs's. If there isn't spot on the road don't park in the Esso's spaces 😂

Lovely site so you would expect it to be expensive. But actually compared with a caravan club site it's a better deal. There was a beautiful campsite outside of York and that had everything in the shower room. Loads room for the family. Glad to hear you still keep up the school work. I quite agree veggie stuff can be awful. How can you not like dates and you've been to Morocco.

True a 48v system is what you want for full time life in a truck 12v is expensive to scale up for full time use a nice victron multiplus 8000va and a fogstar 48v 15 kva server battery is what you need minimum

I have a charger lead you can plug into a ev chzrging station, its not well known that the output of these stations is a standard 230v, and at less than 40p per kwh, with a decent battery chager, it can save expensive campsites every 3 days..we use this system, also you often get a coupleof hours free parking. Lithium batteries are a must, as you can hit them with high fast charging...just a thought.

if you have a inverter charger you just need the ev plug..i think victron do a stand alone lithium charger which is about 75a..maybe as high as 120amp..then just use your hook up cable as an extension because the charge points are usually just small bays..75 amps in a hour isnt too shabby considering you dont have to drive..

A product called Elbow Grease will bring those covers back to white again. Spray it on and leave it for a minute or so, you’ll see the yellowing run off. Great video as always 👍

Here are some funny fines, I have received 5 texts in the last couple of months all of them giving me parking fines, I can't drive therefore I don't have a vehicle of any kind. My sons had a look and said its a scam ignore them. The 4th and 5th of those fines threatened me with alsorts. Im 66 and suffer bad anxiety. Xx

Well we have a Tesla electric car, we don’t often charge at superchargers, I have used Scotch Corner hotel about 3 times to charge. Couple of months ago we were charging and I inputted the wrong reg of my car in the hotel. Well got a £60 fine and put in a £10 charge

there is a youtuber called hooverlux restorations and he calls it retro brighting you use a chemical called hydrogenperoxide it needs to be at least 12% then you leave it in the sun for a few hours or use a uv light the longer you leave it the brighter it gets

Went to Mercedes car dealer in Carlisle, well dressed with the knowledge of what I wanted and was ignored by sales staff for 15 mins, eventually gota test drive of 30 mins after going through the same amount of time filling out my life story. When we arrived back and said we wanted some other features to the one we tested they then lost interest and couldn't be bothered to source from another dealer or notify us of the spec we wanted coming up somewhere else. If that was their attitude to us I expect the whole Mercedes dealerships' attitude is that way.

Never ever park in a coach bay. These are for coaches only and are few and far between. If you block a coach bay with your truck where would the coach park. The passengers that they bring would spend far more money than yourselves . So in my mind you deserve a fine to recoup some of the money that the village lost.
