Yup that's right Angie, more specifically there are airline companies that use a reach test and not the height to screen their applicants. For example Saudia's reach requirement is 212 cm

We have the same experience/thoughts ate :( Nursing narin sana yung kukunin kong course. But I cannot consider myself to work in Medical Field. So nag tourism nalang din ako. Kasi iba yung feeling na nararamdaman ko. I think sasaya ako dito.

Yes po may full scholarship po sa OLFU kung pasok yung gwa sa requirements. Pero as of now since hindi lahat ng studyante nag enroll, binabaan nila yung scholarship. For example: Supposedly 100% sana scholarship mo 75% nalang ganon dahil nga hindi lahat nag enroll at marami expenses ang school. Goodluck!

Ate, ano po ba yung requirements para maka kuha ng scholarship? Required ba yung grades nung Grade 12 ako? Mag fifirst year college na kase ako nezt school year. Hehe

Hello, Lai. Yes po pwede po yung grade nung Grade 12 ka to apply for scholarship pero limited slots lang kasi meron sa kanila non dapat maunahan mo yung ibang mag apply. If di ka naman makahabol, you can take their exam for scholarship not sure lang if meron yan ngayon because of the pandemic. In maintaining the grades naman walang baba sa 2.00. Meaning dapat grades mo nasa 1.00, 1.25, 1.75, 2.00 lang. Good luck!

hi ate! incoming itm - tto freshie po sa olfu antipolo po ako, can you make a video po about tourism management na naka center po sa specific ways ng fatima? like indepth view po about sa 6 uniform, p.e classes, tuition fee difference niyo during 1st year until now po (senior na po kayo diba?), major & minor subjects, and other tips po that we can use while we study in olfu po ate. thank you poo!!

hello pleaseee pleaseee answer. freshie po ako this coming A.Y and undecided pa ako between BSTM or BSHM and sa OLFU po ako nag-apply. (1) ano po ba ang dapat course pag gusto mo sa cruise ship magtrabaho? BSTM po ba or BSHM-HACLO (hotel administration and cruise line operations)? (2) if the answer is BSTM po, BSTM-MICE po ba or BSTM-TTO? (3) may tours din po ba sa BSHM-HACLO course? thank you so much in advance!

if you want to work sa cruise ship I think go for BSHM, sabi din ng professor namin from our transportation subject na kung sa cruise ship daw gusto mag work need daw 2 years exp. btw I’m currently a 1st year BSITM student at OLFU VAL.

Hello. TTO- stands for travel and tours operations if you want to be a Flight attendant in the future eto piliin mo kasi naka focus to sa travel industry. on the other hand, yung MICE stands for meetings, incentives, convention and exhibition eto naman yung event industry. for example: how are you going to create and manage an event ano mga ggawain before, during and after. Mag ccreate kayo dito ng event lahat lahat kayo mag aasikado from the start to finish. Goodluck and I hope to see you soon sa campus when everything's okay!🤞🏼

Bali yung isa po na BS in International Tourism Management wala pong "major in TTO" tas yung isa meron naman po na nakalagay.....bat po kaya ganun walang "major in" yung isa pero same naman po silang "International Tourism Management"??

Jemimah Galaroza Hi, Jemimah! Yes, I remember you. It depends po on how severe it is. Pagmalala, it will affect your ability to perform the job once you are hired. Remember, safety and security ang main priority ng mga Flight Attendants, sympre dapat healthy ka so that you can perform the job well.

Ate 16 units lang po ba sa olfu ng first year tourism): hanggang 2nd sem? 😭 target ko po kasi 33 units 😭

Hello po. Yung units po sa OLFU nagiiba po every semester from 1st-4th year. Minsan 16, 18, 24, 32, hanggang sa matapos mo sya hindi po 33 units lang ang total.

Hello, Maria. In my opinion it is not right to ask other person kung ano mas better kung hm or tourism. Make sure to choose a course that YOU want that will match your kills and abilities. Know your strengths and weaknesses. Anyways, both naman sya maganda and maraming opportunities after finishing it same naman sila ng industry which is Hospitality industry ❤️ Goodluck

Mariang Mela Hello, Mariang. Both International and local tour depends kung saan yung tour at sa itinerary. Sa amin yung local tour namin hindi lalagpas ng 15K depende kung saan yung location pag malayo, mas mahal kasama na doon yung accommodation, food lahatlahat na allowance nalang need mo. Pag International tour naman naka depende din sa location yung Malaysia-Singapore nasa 40-50K mga ganyan di kasama allowance mo non tapos yung sa South Korea nasa 60K ata sila tapos yung sa Japan nasa 60-70K hindi rin kasama pa allowance mo.

@@AlohaAngie ate isa pa pong tanong heheh. Nagpunta po kase sa school namin yung olfu nag talk sila and nagbigay din po ng brochure, nakalagay po sa tuition ng tourism 22k magkaiba po ba yung sa inyo kaya mas mahal?

Mariang Mela Parehas lang po yon just like what I said naka depende sa units. Nung 1st year ako nasa 26K ata yung tuition fee dahil 18 units lang ata yon, at last semester iba din yung tuition ulet kasi tumaas yung units.

Hello! I already answered that question on this vlog but anyways, yes po bawal po maraming piercing because it is not part of the uniform and if marami kang piercing I suggest to take it off lahat and use only one pair of pearl earrings since it is the standard. Thank you and best of luck.

It depends on what type ng tour. Meron kasing local/domestic tapos international. Pag Domestic depends po kung saan yung location ng tour pero pinaka mura is 9,000 tapos pag International 40-70K depende sa country

iba iba naman ng price ang mga university when it comes to the tour pero ganyan sa Fatima medyo may kamahalan because the accommodation is always 5-star hotel

Depende po yan sa University pero samin po usually May convention/seminar tapos may speaker po don nag i-invite po yung college ng mga guest speaker na successful na sa field ng Tourism and Hospitality Industry. Meron ding open forum in case may question or clarification ang mga students/participants and mag ch-check in sa isang 5-star hotel para ma experience ang mga amenities.
