On my last trip to Prague, I went to Karlova 30 twice, because the food was so good and they were so nice. I'm sure it was a bit more expensive than in other areas of the city, but I it was surely not overpriced. Google maps now says it is permanently closed :( I hope it's not true

Nemyslím si, že typický Čech zná nějaké specifické turistické pasti. Nemají důvod chodit po historickém centru jako turisté. A obecně je to opatrná společnost.

I think a big trap for tourists are the money exchange shops. The rates are often really bad. It was better for me to just withdraw money from an ATM with some charge from the bank
