I lost respect for many of the contributors for this show, You guys have talent and enough skills, clout, money etc to be embarrassing yourselves like this and behaving like abosulte clowns for channel 4. I guarantee you some very high tv executives somewhere do this to degrade you and in turn anyone who comes from similar backgrounds, this a mockery and reduction of London culture, my personal opinion.

I, too, have this debate sometimes about whether or not it's harmful longterm...but then I remember shows like jack@ss. I think because of the trauma as a people (minstrel shows and human zoos etc), a hyper-awareness and subsequent higher standard has been set. Ashton K was allowed the freedom to be a prankshow host and walk the red carpet as a box office actor. A bl@ck prankster would quickly be boxed in and typecast... not permitted the same freedom. Whilst I understand it, I sometimes think it's unfair because their counterparts are able to capitalise playing the jester without worrying about being judged and demeaned later on.
