I live in Punta del Este and it’s so interesting to see the way tourists experience it, I’m glad you enjoyed it 😊❤ btw the guy was singing about the football (soccer) team he supports (Peñarol is one of the biggest teams in Uruguay). He was definitely happy about that tip because it was very generous 😊

Hiiii, I live in punta del este all year long and I’m so happy to see that you guys liked punta in winter!! Its tranquility and safety is underrated, many people advice to only go in summer but I personally think that it’s great all year round ❤❤ definitely come to punta in summer if you like to party every night tho hahaha, and the beaches are also great to bathe in!! I love the endless cycle of crazy in summer and chill in winter

I never knew Uruguay was this beautiful! Thank for introducing us to a new country. Is their Spanish dialect very different from the CA Spanish dialect?

It’s quite different but it’s still possible to communicate with each other easily

Yay! So glad you're enjoying our adventures. Yes, the accent is quite different. Pretty similar to the Argentinian accent actually, but definitely way different than the accent we are used to in California/Mexico. We loved getting to experience a different type of spanish!
