Hint: Ball up newspaper pages and leave them in the cooler...it should help to remove the smell.

When we are camping I keep a cooler behind the driver's seat of the car. Without ice it keeps meat and dairy stuff cool when we pick up shopping whilst away from the caravan (trailer to you sir :) )

Thanks so much for the great review. I looked on the Amazon link and they showed the cooler without the Styrofoam supports in the lid. Maybe used just for shipping? Anyway, thanks for another great video.

I checked their site & the cooler comes in several sizes. I would like you to test it on days above 80* degrees. Just to see how long the ice last. Thanks Neil

I had to laugh was you were opening the box. There's always that one corner of the packing tape that doesn't get cut when you're trying to open the box. Happens to me all the time.

Good review and road test Neil. Seemed very fair. I like how the lid sets into the box. Maybe keep the zipper lube in one pocket? And I do like the size and rings on the zipper. Regular ones are tough to grip, especially when wet. On Amazon, the price is about $100, which quite a bit more than the others Amazon shows. It would be nice to be able to compare them side by side to see the quality that justifies the price difference. Thanks for the thorough review!

I guess that the lubricant is silicon. Vaseline is not good on plastics.

Not sure, it looked like petroleum jelly coming out of the tube!

Silicon Jelly looks similar. I have a tube in the caravan tool kit and use it occasionally to lubricate where the water hooks into the caravan and stop it sticking. Petroleum based products are not good with some plastics I believe
