The Way of Onitama 1 is a tournament organized in Boardgame Arena, which started a few days ago and attracted some of the best Onitama players in the platform.
As such, I want to cover all of my matches in the tournament, as well as some of the most interesting matches played by other players!
This is the analysis of my first round match, played against CDShark, I hope you enjoy it!

Hey there. I´ve seen most of your videos and i´ve been using some of your advice to climb the ladder in BGA. Keep up the good work and good luck in the tournament. (I also enlisted on the tournament, i´m glad its swiss system, so we can all play our share of games without being eliminated)

I’m glad this channel has been helping you improve your game and that that translates into good results in the ladder! 😁 How did the first round go for you, managed to win it? Indeed Swiss is perfect for this kind of tournament, it is a fairer way of evaluating how strong the players are than single/double elimination.

We ended up chatting about it in BGA but, In hindsight, it seems polite to actually answer you here as well so the viewers can follow a bit of the story. I´ll keep practicing and see if i can hold my own against the big ones, like you and FHenker on the future. Regards!
