As an American Revert 43+yrs. ago, AlhamduAllah!!,🤲🏻,, at the age of 17, I can relate so much to his story. The feeling of finding what I knew existed (innately), is so exhilarating! It makes you so happy, even if you don’t know that much about Islam yet. The hunger to learn more & more, is so strong & each time you learn something new, it leads you to another thing, & another thing. You just feel that sense of peace & tranquility in your life because you have embraced Islam, Subhannah Allah!! I read some of these same pamphlets & books that he also read. I could not help but smile, remembering some of those early learning experiences, that I also had. There was no internet resources back in my day of converting. In 1981. It’s now referred to as “reverting”, because we believe that all people are created by Allah (God) with an innate sense of him placed inside of us, while in our mother’s womb. Allah knew he would ask us about our belief in him & because , he is The Fairest & Most Just, he would not create his creation without having instilled this innate sense of knowing him inside of us. We are all born into various belief systems, or the lack thereof. Then we are socialized by our parents, communities, & cultures, to follow blindly whatever they believe. But that innate sense is always still there. I’m so happy for this brother & his wife. I am so glad that she also decided to embrace Islam. They are both very blessed to have come to Islam organically. It happened just the way it was supposed to, Mash’Allah!! I always say “Allah doesn’t make mistakes!”. If anyone who has not yet embraced Islam is reading this, or if a Muslim knows of someone that is curious about Islam, even if only for educational purposes,s. I highly recommend a YT Video called “How the Bible led me to Islam”, by Joshua Evans. It is a great introduction for Christians to learn about what Muslims believe in brief, in comparison to what we are taught growing up as Christians. There are so many great “Muslim Revert Stories” out there as well. People from all spiritual levels, ethnicities, backgrounds, socioeconomic, & educational levels, that share how they came to embrace Islam. There are stories of Atheists embracing Islam as well. Here is a person whom I consider to be a “ Muslim Christian” who once he found out the truth he automatically reverted back to Islam. It’s the same thing that happened to me and a whole lots of people. Once we started doing research Allah started to open our eyes and the truth showed up like magic. It is clear that this man did not know his Bible before he read Deedats book. It is strange that this man does not know the history of the Bible and does not know the history of the Qur'an. Unfortunately, many Muslims are not familiar with the textual history of the Quran and the Hadith. There are monuments and tons of historical material that prove the claims of heavenly origin of the Quran as completely false. First, you must realize that the earliest historian about the life of Mohammed, Ibn Hisham, lived 200 years after the death of Mohammed. (He died 833 AD). He wasn't an Arab man, he never lived in Mecca or Medina; he never saw Mohammed and he never had any written record about Mohammed. How should anyone believe in such 'history'? Also, the earliest Hadith (Al Bukhari) was written by a man who died in 870 AD, about 230 years after the death of Mohammed. He never knew Mohammed. He was a Persian, not an Arab and was never in Mecca or Medina. It is the same thing with other Hadiths like Sahih Muslim, At-Tirmidih, Ibn Majah, Abu Dawúd, etc. Are these not the best of "the amazing sources of Islamic history" you are boasting about?

American revert who grew up in the Deep South. While never a Christian myself, I never "felt" anything when reading the New Testament. It was just like reading any other book. After an unexplained experience involving golden lights I read the Quran for the first time in my life at age 48 and whoa. Just the Al-Fatiha alone caused a powerful emotional rush. My journey to Islam was similar to his story, except I never wanted to be a pastor. I took my Shahada several years ago, but after I did that, I would go to the masjid & always felt alienated bkuz I can't grow a beard. Most Muslims in America are Middle-Eastern or from Muslim countries, so unfortunately, the culture side of Islam comes with this religion. I stopped going to the masjid after about 6 months bkuz brothers didn't seem to be interested in befriendIng an American who had no beard & it was frowned upon that I even greeted a sister...so i just felt very disconnected with going to a place where i was basically tolerated yet ignored. Community is so important to me. Feeling I belong is important. Yes, I understand the relationship is supposed to be personal, but for someone like me who was born in America....I want & need to have relationships with other believers. I want to be married to a Muslim woman but there is just so many Muslim men & women that will never accept me for many reasons. My line of work now also hinders me from being able to go to the mosque for Juuma or for prayers, so I just do the best I can & hope Allah will forgive me.

I simply had to watch until the very end. Is a beautiful story of family, tragedy, and strength. I I believe Brother Khalil Meek is Sincere. You can albeit see the power of Allah within him. I experienced A most vivid dream which awoke me one night, it was like nothing I'd ever experienced before, I was a little shaken at the time. Within days a copy of the holy Quran arrived at my door. I was an atheist for a decade, I researched both religions and asked god to talk to me. Islam is following laws and sunnat, Christianity is having a connection to God and talk with him (not to him) everyday.

Islam is very comprehensive in that you can directly ask God which is called dua (i.e. supplications) and remember/praise God which is called zhikr (i.e. roughly translates to remembrances). This can be done at any time you want and they just like all good deeds with the right intentions count also as acts of worship: "remember Me; I will remember you. And thank Me, and never be ungrateful." Quran 2:152 "When My servants ask you ˹O Prophet˺ about Me: I am truly near. I respond to one’s prayer when they call upon Me. So let them respond ˹with obedience˺ to Me and believe in Me, perhaps they will be guided ˹to the Right Way˺." Quran 2:186 "those who believe and whose hearts find comfort in the remembrance of Allah. Surely in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find comfort." Quran 13:28

Following laws (obligatory) and doing goods (sunnat) is yes, is Islam. But think more deeply. Take one example: why god wants us muslims to pray to Him 5 times a day, compulsory. Coz, He wants us to have connections with Him everyday, not one per week like some religion. And the words in the prays (solah) are actually our talking to God, yes it is in Arabic, but they have translations, and we can use our language in heart while praying, to understand. And we have the Quran, the god's word, His final revelation to mankind. All of quran is His word, not a single letter not from Him. Short saying is, god talks to us in His word, thru Quran. We have this connections, everyday, and in solah we have to recite a chapter called surah alfatihah, coz the entire chapter formulates all of quran, in a single chapter. The greatest pitfall of the Christianity is now that the people are having access to the bible while formerly even a priest was forbidden to read the bible written by John, Mark, Luke and Matthew who were all living 300 years after Jesus, son of Mary was 'PUT ON THE CROSS', naked - that same cross that carried Constantin when he was a disbeliever. Even followers of bible class are not allowed to ask questions, I am myself a victim of it. In Islam, people ask questions freely without threat and fear, have access to all books and the answers are given with quotations. HAVE YOU EVER HEARD A QUESTION ANSWER SESSION ON CHRISTIANITY? organized by the church? You have just to believe, believe, believe whatever Constantin told you.

I too once against Lord God Jesus, but once I heard the video of Saudi Muslim citizen Al Fadhi, it force me to read Holy Bible, I continued it, Holy Spirit of God came to me to teach how to reach in God's Heaven.
