Couple things. Be safe is you're trying to go BTB, It's not impossible in a kayak if you know what you're doing and pick your days but it can be dangerous. Also they're blue runners, idk why I said bluefish.

Coop they do create a hump while they are in the ground still like those rigs are. If you go further out the old Wells where they have moved the rig are deeper holes where they used to be. Typically holding snapper and grouper. Great to find those during the summer snapper season.

To answer ur question about the rigs Theis alot of food that grows on the rigs that attrack bate that then attrack usually fish like dolphin, tripple tale, blue runners, mackrel/ king, trigger fish and some times tuna and wahoo
