Song: Towel Dancing
Lyrics: Aaron J Weaver (g0yboy)
Music and Art: AI
I walked into the lockers,
Took a look around,
Lack of any eye contact,
Heads staring to the ground.
No conversations heard,
Not even between friends,
I found it quite absurd,
What happened to real men?
Those who did talk,
Were those of oldest age,
Junks hanging all around
Taking the front stage.
But me did question,
Why they're even here,
Their bodies show little sign,
They even work out there.
They call it Towel dancing,
That's all we see today,
Men have more to hide,
Then what they have to say.
Fear and suspicion,
Afraid to even show,
What happened to real men,
The ones we use to know.
I changed into my trunks,
And I took a long swim,
In the pool did some laps,
Then I hit the larger gym.
I walked back to the lockers,
Then started to undress,
The younger guys were looking,
Thier faces showing stress.
Walked over to the showers,
Towel over my shoulder,
Lathered myself with soap,
And cleaned even down there,
Dried myself from head to foot,
Walked back to my locker,
Young guys were shyly staring,
But it didn't even bother.
They call it Towel dancing,
That's all we see today,
Men have more to hide,
Then what they have to say.
Fear and suspicion,
Afraid to even show,
What happened to real men,
The ones we use to know.
I said to a man near me,
Who was afraid to look,
He yelled, "Don't hit on me".
Stepped back I did took.
I said, "You got it wrong, man."
What made you think of that?
He said, "You must be cruising,
Cause of all the clothes you lack."
And then it came to me,
I began to realize,
When it comes to nudity,
It is all sexualized.
After I finished my dressing,
And as I drove back home,
I understand why that,
Generation feels alone.
They call it Towel dancing,
That's all we see today,
Men have more to hide,
Then what they have to say.
Fear and suspicion,
Afraid to even show,
What happened to real men,
The ones we use to know.
What happened to real men,
The ones we use to know.
