Ella G Right?! And who saves her? Does she save herself? I need to know!
@SunnyLeUnicorn7 жыл бұрын
My theory is that Aelin tries to save herself, but Rowan swoops in and they do it together.

The assassins blade was the only book I hadn’t read and when I read the bit at the end where chaol recognises aelins handwriting. I actually cried furrealz

I liked TOD but didn't LOVE it. Mostly because while I enjoyed the twists, the politics and everything that had to do with Nesryn and Sartaq, I did not enjoy Chaol's relationship with Yrene and I had certain problems with the way his disability was written.

Impossible Loves I agree! I struggled with the believability of Chaols disability.

Yeah, how spine injuries work SJM flipped the healing process. It rubbed me the wrong way. It would heal from head to toe, not the way she put it.

Not only that. It is also an injury but his paralysis is treated as a psychosomatic manifestation of his depression. Having Yrene healing or at least extinguishing magically and with the power of love the effect of an injury, of psychophysical symptoms and of an emotional disorder really rubbed me the wrong way. It was what kept me from fully enjoying the book.

I mean, TOD did tie up some loose ends. I can't believe the last book won't come out a year from now. UGH! I need some AELIN!!!

True! That bothered me as well, but I couldn't figure out how to say it as elegantly as you did. When anyone writes about disability, I expect them tread carefully and I don't think Maas has done that here.

Andy Luna True that! His father was abusive and I think that's the original source of his anger.

Justine Daydream I wasn’t too excited for this book either, but after what Sarah did to him in Queen of Shadows, I was hoping for something to change. I was happy with the outcome. On a different note, I would love to hear your review of the Six Of Crows Duology. If you haven’t read it, I hope you do.
