IS THIS ANOTHER LOOPHOLE? In Heir of Fire Luca mentioned a person who had pretty much the exact same powers as Dorian: “We did have a female wander in with raw magic two years ago- she could do anything she wanted, summon any element, and she was here a week before Maeve called her to Doranelle and we never heard from her again” (pg 85). This sounds so much like Dorian. Is this another person with the same bloodline as Aelin and Dorian???? Can we sacrifice them instead?? 😅😅😅

I still kind of hate him tbh🤣🤣. It's the way he still insists on thinking about Aelin like she's some kind of monster, murderer or mad woman that i-n-f-u-r-i-a-t-e-s me. I noticed it, all the way back from the first book. Celaens has done nothing to indicate herself a danger to the average person, but she comes to ask for 'permission' to go into the castle proper and he's squinting at her like, 'okay but if you kill anyone..."🙄. It has always felt to me that when she was in chains, and she was this poor, beautiful, troubled girl he had power over, he was content to play the hero. But the moment she got powerful, really powerful, so powerful he couldn't Control her, that power seemed to scare him. And then he turned nasty reeeal quuuick and has never really let his mind come back from this place that, if she's more powerful than anyone I know, she's dangerous, she's a murderer, even rowan can't 'keep her in check'. God, everytime he had one of those stupid interior monologues I wanted to punch him in his stupid face. Like she's some animal thst needs to be leashed. Every single time he mentioned what happened with Archer finn I wanted to punch him. Literally, you're taking her treatment of absolute monsters who caused the death of one of her closest friends and applying it blanketedly to how she would treat all people? And right at the end of this book, tears come to his eyes when he realised what Aelin did for Yrene. But that pissed me off too, because Aelin has been kind and generous, for forever. And he's chosen not to see it because of his own petty insecurities, just like he chose not to see the king he willingly served was evil. As long as I live, I think i will hate chaol... And I'm okay with that😂😂😂

first the sacrifice can be either Dorian or Aelin im pretty sure and i bet they will both be fighting over that honor. second the entire book everyone keeps mentioning chess or being pieces and the gods are making moves to get everyone to a certain place which is with Aelin in this war. that means that this sacrifice is not just the only thing that needs to happen... elide and manon seem unimportant to that plot of sacrifice they are part of a deeper plot that the gods are playing... so we dont even know what there game is... coz why call it a game if your main goal is to kill your strongest piece... so all these gods have picked there own champion and sent them into this war but why? why do they even need to have that much influence if all they want is to go home? you need to go back and like reread all the rules of this entire deal then pick them apart and find all the loop holes it may not even be Aelin Kaltain Rompier!!!!!!!!!!! she SACRIFICED HERSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 what if the sacrifice has already been made and all they need to do is put the lock in the door and seal it!! she had fire magic thats why Duke Perrington paid attention to her in the first place thinking she was Aelin or the heir.... maybe she was????? some fucked up wording BS is happening

Loved this!! Been waiting ages for it! 😁 I wonder if in KoA is there a possibility of an alliance between Aelin and Erawan when they realize that Maeve is the real enemy. The valg are all experimenting and stuff now cause they think they're stuck in this world, but the only reason they came to this world was to get Maeve and bring her home so if Erawan finds out that she's actially the valg queen, would he maybe be happy to work with Aelin and co and then head home with Maeve to his brothers? 🤔 I think it'd be an interesting plot twist

I’m so pumped to read Empire of Storms now! Also petrified...but what did you think of the storyline between Borte and Yeran? I think they secretly love each other just as much as they irritate each other. I hope something comes of their relationship in the next book. I could even read a novella just about them.
