anime is fine, it's just we are used to better visuals, at the cost of repetitive bs and terribly fast pacing that makes story telling shallow, most anime nowadays is more like for addicts than actual fans of anime. TOG is ok, it's building up to stuff that's very hype, but the audience of anime has forgotten how to be patient. If naruto came out today, it would be dunked on so hard for example.
