With Russ McKinnon's simpler approach on the kit, Rocco really shines on this date.I'm a huge Garibaldi fan but Russ does a great job with a very deep pocket.

True, but the song had been around longer than that. There's a clip on here of the horn section [with a painfully-thin Emilio on lead vocals] performing the song on Letterman in 1987 [Letterman holds up their then-current "Power" album during his introduction].

Robert Oetojo that’s pure passion and an incredible gift of a voice. Trust me, to sound that smooth you not only gotta stay off of chemical substances, but you gotta take really good care of those vocal chords, eat right and sleep right. It’s a fragile instrument.

Sounds great to me.I'm not a keyboard player but If there is one thing that should have been better it would be the Organ. Nothing beats a B3 and a Leslie especially not one of the crappy DX7 type of keyboards that a lot of guys were using back then.. But I understand the logistics of touring with a B3 setup. And Bruce Conte is still my favorite guitar player the band has ever had. Les Paul/ clean tone. Jazz phrasing instead of overdriven rock licks. That would be a better fit for my taste I think the guys are playing their butts off. It's just that the 80s costumes are pretty goofy by today,s standards and they make them look less serious than the heavyweight players they were.

Are you for real man? When Tower reformed with this new young band and new material it put them back on the map! I saw this basic lineup at least 4 times in the early 90s and they really kicked ass! I know Lenny Williams blah, blah, blah. He left TOP in the 70s. People need to get over that and enjoy each iteration of the band.
