I'm extremely skeptical of new games, open world, and early access stuff after gaming for a few decades but this looks very interesting! Didn't mention anything about automation of factory building, so it looks like it will give us a lot, but there are a lot of others open world that gives most of the mentioned features as well. Hoping it does come well together and all mechanics feel connected with each other. I sure will keep an eye on this one.

Devs said that villagers don't do a whole lot at the beginning but it is in roadmap to add more work for them. Thanks for watching!

The only downside is that the building mechanics are statics, you can only place premade buildings in fixed place, you won't have the freedom to build what and where you want, the main goal is to terraforming so I think I will be find with that type of building, great video btw, sub deserved

Thank you so much! =) Yes, it would be nice if there was more free building. I think that's a challenge to do when you're gonna have a lot of npc's walking around your base interacting with things. Maybe in the future? Idk. Enshrouded is figuring it out so maybe more will.

But I think it's because it makes the world feel unique and special; when I go online I learn tips and tricks for the game, but I can't learn the optimal strategy, because that depends on the world generation. So this leaves something for me to discover on my own.

Looks like an open world adventure game with survival elements tacked on. Might as well be an Enshrouded or a Zelda. Building seems weak with a bunch of prefabs to construct. Not sure how in depth the survival mechanics are, but at first glance I'd be hesitant to call it a survival game.

I'll be finding out more about the survival aspects for sure. Maybe it is more emphasis on the open world. Zelda is indeed one of the their inspirations. The building is different than games like Valheim and Enshrouded for sure. It looks more like that of ASKA and Bellwright where you're building a village and using npcs as helpers. They do say they need to flesh out the npc workers more over their EA time.

Actually it does have multi-player co-op. You do the initial tutorial on your own to get the story and then up to 4 ppl can play together. They plan to increase that number in the future.

Dreamlit is a new Indie studio that was started in 2020. They have about 21 ppl working remotely from around the world. This seems to be their first game. They are partnered for publishing with Kowloon Nights and Sony. Hope that's helpful. =)
