Thanks for the video. All our towns & cities have really been destroyed by the street vending. But it’s good that so far the city looks much cleaner that the way I last so it. We need to remove all the street vendors although the number has been reduced. We also need to have the pavements to be re done & paint the buildings to be painted or redeveloped.

vending in kitwe is better during day, in the evening its not good. but the town is getting by. I also think it needs a new bus station.. all the busses are in town.

Oh, yes, I am from Zambia. It's a fantastic place to live, so choose wisely. Christians constitute 97% of the population, and Christianity is mandated by the constitution. Most individuals are, in fact, friendly.

@@nsofwawalklog Oh yes. It's abslutely stunning. You wonder how they all just sprung up all of a sudden. You nver used to see kids with Hijabs, now you see middle aged adults and teens in capes and Hijabs. Really worrying.

How did you travel from Lusaka to kitwe ? Did you use Zambia railways ?

I use the bus services, more reliable than railways

The Kitwe and Ndola CBDs have by far better layouts than Lusaka. They're cleaner and better organised. Lusaka has a boring layout and dirty! At Independence, Kitwe was the biggest city in Zambia. Ndola had more Infrastructure. Lusaka only started expanding and developing more after Independence with added infrastructure like the UTH, Lusaka International Airport, Mulungushi International Conference Centre, UNZA, ZNBC studios just to mention but a few. In short, the Copper Belt towns had better developed suburbs and most if not all amenities.

I agree with you.. there's something unique about the cities in copperbelt. city planners took more time to plan them and be organized.
