The only reason I revealed all of this to the public and not privately is because the game is broken and BMG doesn't seem to be fixing it at a pace that is acceptable, by showing everyone is forces them to start fixing Classic Salem. I have gotten word that it will be fixed within the next week or two and ranked is supposed to be reset once again. Side Note: It only took me four days to fully understand this bug. I did research on the priority and some trial and error with the vote to get the patterns correct enough and see if they continued.

if what i know from Tormental is true then BMG won't ever fix the game, really what they want is for it to die the slow and painful death while they cream off the profits. if you don't know who he is search for him and about 2 years ago he got banned from the game for simply pointing out what was wrong and everything he said is still broken.

The game should not be OPERATING at all so long as this bug isn't fixed. The fact that BMG is letting it run at all is disgusting. I know turning it off isn't as simple as flicking a switch, but if your game is unplayable, you should do what you need to do to prevent people from playing it.

This has been going on awhile I noticed the pattern in bits like the first few and last always told me who to avoid or watch but thought it was just coincidence and didn't try testing it. After awhile I stopped playing because as vig or jailor I kept finding evils too easily.

Holy Crap! I always wondered why the order was never simply in the number order of the players. It would make things a bit easier to find who voted for who. There are so many jumping ship on ToS right now. I don't want it to fail, it really is a fun game, but they really should address the needs of the players better if they want to survive. Anywho, I'm enjoying Throne of Lies, I would love to see more of that.

So votes are in priority of night visits.... Seems like that was some obvious over sight. They could have easily displayed them in number order....

They should just display the votes in the order they put the vote (Abstain would always be last) or just in the order that the houses are.

MEDI! URGENT! They fixed the bug, go back in to TOS and they updated it and fixed multiple of bugs like the rank bug when you leave mid game and you are losing, you don’t lose elo, and that is the only one I remember and this bug to, it is random now so don’t worry, bmg finally got their shit together and fixed their game

Doing some testing, I found out the Serial Killer and Janitor/Blackmailer is part of the Middle Last section, and isn't in the Bottom section. Still completely broken.

Yeah I'd love to see you play more throne of lies, I just started up about a month ago (at least part to your video playing it). And I must say it's night and day difference in how the dev's handle incidents like this. Take for instance, in throne of lies, someone posted on the forums that he saw a prince starting up a meta game thing of "copy and paste the system message when you occupied someone". 2 hours later the dev's responded, in less than 24 hours a hotfix to make system messages unselectable was implemented. Compare that to "3rd word of your abilities". Meta game that went into town of salem, to which the dev's just shrugged and said "we frown on this behavior, but everyone can keep the wiki up... we'll put all role cards in game at some point. (which they finally did, like a year and a half after the meta-gaming was prevalent). Same when a viral video of someone accidentally pasting his invite link over his log in jail and getting executed. Again within 24 hours... control Z was implimented for journals.

I actually did some experiments about the voting thing in Ranked. The Necromancer, Coven Leader, and Hex Master were below the occupy immune roles (in that order). The Potion Master and Medusa were also near the top, and the Poisoner was much further down.

I always used to wonder why the voting order wasn't sorted by each person's place in town (1-15) or grouped by how they voted (eg. all guilty votes, then all innos then all abstain)... It seemed a bit weird but I never thought it would be because of something as game breaking as this...

Medi i just had the best town game EVER! My role was jailor. I jailed the jester n1, and i died to mafia n1. The consort died to vet n1. Then n2 i was rezzed by retri. The same night, the werewolf killed the mafioso and vet, and the vigi killed the jester. Then at n4, the werewolf killed another member of the mafia, and we hung the werewolf. Then d5, mayor revealed, and the last mafia left

Just play custom games with your subscribers in the meantime. Find some interesting gimmicks like 0 townies, a couple vampires, coven, neutral killing, and a bunch of NB. Heck. Throw in a plaguebearer for funsies. Or play Throne of Lies and get back to Minecraft. :D

Eh a bug like this I'd say with friends it doesn't help.... Once you've seen it, you can't un-see it. It's like playing cards when your friend has super reflective glasses. As hard as you try, you're going to see them, and once you've seen them you really can't avoid letting that influence your decisions, you find yourself thinking "ok would I have fallen for that bluff if I didn't know he has nothing"?
