Well thing is classic not only has a limited amount of roles compared to ranked practice, but it's full of throwers and toxic players. You don't wanna force people to have to play in a lobby where they won't learn anything. There's more to a game than playing a role and then giving results cause you have to read others and learn the meta, which is non-existent in classic. And if you're new and don't understand a role, you can't even ask in, for example, dead chat, cause you'll get trolls who lie about it waaaay more often than you would in a game where people have a heart

Everyone is real dumb in rp. Yesterday I had a game as Jailor, nobody had wills. TP ignored me all game despite claiming day 1 and day 2. RT Transporter didn't come out to confirm sheriff has wrong results, town was extremely salty in general and was quiet all game, nobody responded when I ask for roles and wills and when I exe then I just hope I hit the evils and not idiot townies... It's trash most of the time, but sometimes you get those gem games and it's still better than waiting 6 mins for ranked game.

Either way, you would have confirmed a vigi even if they died, and got yourself killed, which can easily lead to other evils being killed depending on how they play.

Had one of my dumbest games today, a guy asked for tp/lo D1 so everyone was on him including escort who died to sk, D2 we talked through leads and got a few claims until some other guy suddenly piped up (almost at the end of the day) saying they were actually jailor, "haha its jest lets give him win xD" so we voted up the 'jester' who actually knew what was claimed in jail (they barely fought honestly so it seemed obvious and the jailed guy didnt confirm that he had claimed spy) It was suggested we let the vig claim shoot them to confirm but jailor was desperate to give jester the win so the sheepy town guiltied and a few of us innoed, sk lynched jailor with town's help and then fake spy started saying jailor was disg........

Recently i have started to play ToS and i have seen your videoa and i find them quite awesome since im able to pick up the game at least at some extent (need to practice anyway). I had the luckiest jailor game yesterday. Jailed a BM'er n1 who claimed spy, was too early for me to really find that suspicious. N2 I jailed mafioso , asked for a will and he ask "why me" ..no will no role so i executed. Happened to jail forger N3. I ask the same question and he gave the same reaction so it got the same result. We hang arso claiming to who wasn't on me even though I asked for tp/lo. Then I jail the gf N4 who had a will but was never on me so I execute and we hang the BM'er. Chose all these people to jail because they never spoke, and never voted even when we tried pushing someone. If only I was always this lucky.

It's possible, but it's pretty risky. Mediums would confirm each other by day 3. So in order to be believable you'd have to claim it before knowing for certain whether or not there's a ret or an actual medium. And you're also both claiming an RT spot if the legit TS gets confirmed. And if either of you go down, you both go down.

@@ark3051 Yeah but OTOH playing classic it's pretty rare to get a spy in game, and a lot of spies in classic have weird or even no wills. There's a huge step up between classic and RP that can trip people up very easily. Many of the roles in RP rarely or never appear in classic.

Yeah, the one spy I had in my first 50 classic games posted no results until they suddenly decided I was a killer because my targets kept getting attacked and healed....I was doc. I do think that RP is very different to classic in terms of roles and claimspace and TI in classic often deliberately choose to slide under the radar and play more individually, aiming to stay alive for longer rather than sharing more info that will likely make them a target. There's also some things that are unclear to start with, like I knew the jester could make an unstoppable attack when lynched, I didn't know that it would happen automatically if I didn't pick someone.

If this was a Classic game, then the Spy just really shouldn't have been playing until they learn the roles. If this is Ranked, then that was definite gamethrowing as you should know the roles enough by now to know what you are supposed to do. Either way, I definitely would have reported rice for gamethrowing, as they costed Mafia the win by straight up telling you they were evil.
