this is such a good song I do believe God was involved in it. I am a man of faith (try my best to be, anyway), and I do think God's voice can be heard in the souls of the great songs. I don't know if I'll love this song forever, but I sure do right now. thanks for that. be well, everyone. we're getting there.

@@thomaspatrickparker6648 Robin Williams once said that when you meet a person you have no idea what personal hell they are going through. And then something about treating each other nice or w/e. The first part of that quote should be something you consider before making a backhanded comment about a person you only read about or listened to. Addiction is a horrible habit and looking down on someone that has it makes you an asshat

Alan watts when talking about love."Some preachers preach this about love(love is like starting your car when it stalls. If you push real hard to get it started you can get it running) But that will only turn you into a clever hypocrite." "To love you must find in fact what you do indeed love.existence is love so you must find what infact you do indeed love.it could be booze or ice cream but there is love operating.you find what you love tend to it let it grow like a plant so that you can than aim it in other directions and at other things." "If you don't love you don't let it out (or "seal the river at it's mouth take the water prisoner. Fill the skies with screams and cries bathed in fiery answer") Than it turns into self destruction" and wanting to chop everything up.its the same energy.

Life will always be a struggle for some people regardless of circumstance. It's closely linked with creativity & it needs an outlet. I try to find a healthy balance between an Alan Watts type outlook of self improvement & a George Carlin not giving a f*ck about anything. I would say do as you please but don't do things that stop you from facing reality🖤

[Verse 1] Won't you lend your lungs to me? Mine are collapsing Plant my feet and bitterly breathe up the time that's passing Breath I'll take and breath I'll give, pray the day's not poison Stand among the ones that live in lonely indecision [Verse 2] Fingers walk the darkness down, mind is on the midnight Gather up the gold you've found, you fool, it's only moonlight And if you stop to take it home, your hands will turn to butter Better leave this dream alone, try to find another [Verse 3] Salvation sat and crossed herself and called the Devil "partner" Wisdom burned upon a shelf, who'll kill the raging cancer Seal the river at its mouth, take the water prisoner Fill the sky with screams and cries, bathe in fiery answers [Verse 4] Jesus was an only son and love, his only concept Strangers cry in foreign tongues and dirty up the doorstep And I, for one, and you, for two, ain't got the time for outside Keep your injured looks to you, we'll tell the world that we tried
