Just like myself you've done townley Hall a few times. Is it worth trying to get into the "restricted" areas? For research purposes?

I remember walking around in there is there a dungeon in there aswell I remember some small stairs been chained off that went to the basement

They're still collecting rent to this day is townley estate's I know London like the back of my hand me old china, if you want to go down when all this C19 is cleared. I'll be your huckleberry loads of places of interest in Essex too shame you can't get down the old tunnels of London anymore as they was good. Hopefully they'll do an open doors weekend in the future and open up some of the good stuff like they used to.
