So sad to hear of such atrocities being committed in this LG area...it pains my heart for the people living here and government don't seem to care. God know what I would have done because Fulani people will not dare enter any state in the SE again

Well, it is either the maker of this video is not well informed about Ayamelum LGA or she is just out to do mischief by deliberately portraying the LGA in bad light. This is the height of unprofessionalism because ideally, a tour guide would have helped. Also, a good research on her part would have also added credibility and allow her verify certain information before dishing it out.In all, the presenter is obviously feeble minded and of poor cognitive ability. An LGA that hosts the Anambra/Imo River Basin Authority, that produced the famous Prof.Nwuneli, former Chief Judge of Anambra ( Justice PAC Obidigwe, former SSG ( Paul Odenigbo), as well as Igwe Oranu Chris Chidiume of Omor ( Chrisoral Group) as well as Chief Nnalue Okonkwo .The LGA equally has the beautiful sight of the Anambra and Ezu Rivers, the bigest rice mill in SE Nigeria. Also, it is the highest producer of rice in SE with large beautifully partioned rice farm, even as it host the bigest gas plant un SE ( owned by Ibeto and located in Omasi). The LGA is blessed with oil and forms part the oil producing communities in Anambra State ( aside the presence of Orient Petroleum at the fringes of its boundary with Anambra East at Umueje, there are several oil wells discovered and corked by SPDC since the 60s.In terms of history, it belongs to the revered Omambala clan ;one of the earliest clans in Igbo land. The issue herdsmen attack is not pronunced in Ayamelum as portrayed rather there has been series of intra community crisis in the area. The attack on Omor as wrongly narrated was an unprovoked terroristic act by some criminals gangs led by an Anaku indigene as vengeance on Omor for a conflict in the past where Omor dealt destructive blow on them.It has nothing to do with herdsmen except that it is equally an act of terror having occured outside war period. The issue has since being resolved following government intervention. The LGA is actually being neglected by the government despite its enormous potentials but the people are relentless in developing their communities as is evident from the street lights etc.The presenter need to apologize to Ayamelum people for this misrepresentation and should be more circumspect, purposeful and professional in her subsequent contents.

Do you know what I encountered on the road on the very day I did this documentary I'm from Nnewi no matter what we do here, I still condemn the fact we have bad roads If I see something unusual I will still say it That something is good in the 60s doesn't mean that it won't have bad attributes later Yes, this local govt was also attacked later in the evening same day I made this documentary Stay in your abroad and keep spilling nonsense

Your reply confirms that you comprehend at abysimal pace. Your attempt to justify your skewed narrarive on the ground that you encountered a security situation while visiting the LGA is equally a very porous arguement which is of no substance and moment here.Even in your hometown; Nnewi, there has been series of security infractions of grave magnitude but you have never on that counselled prospective visitors to be wary of the town.Recall specifically the infamous broad-daylight massive bank attack/ robbery about a decade ago in Nnewi(which led to huge casualties including an indigene; a lawyer who was allegedly hit by stray bullet inside his Office ).Recall also, the recent kidnap of a renowned petroleum dealer in your eldorado Nnewi amongst others. If you had done your research on trends, you would have realised that Ayamelum is not in the front burner on issues of herdsmen attack as you claimed. In research, an isolated event cannot be rightly utilized as basis for conclusion.Instructively, your ignorance went into naked madness at the point you got to Omor and was insinuating that you may drift into another state as you lack even a faith idea of communities in your dear state, where you reside. Equally, it is a shame that despite lacking local knowledge, you do not posess the prowers for use of technical knowledge to navigate through your Igboland.I will stop with a note of warning to you to desist from dishing out inchoate and innaccurate information to the public. Dare me and I will invoke the law on your ignorant head.BE WARNED
