I wish the creator would make an update to add some faint aspects of life... Like smoke from chimneys. Market stalls that could crop up in large plazas . Etc

I agree. I think it would be a nice feature. It's been a while since the official release, but I have my fingers crossed for a new update. I am hoping it will be something nice to refresh Townscaper.

It truly is! It's very simple really just point and click. There are certain combos/aesthetics (lack of better term) that appear when you click on a specific part of the grid. Depending on where and how you connect your blocks, you can make cranes, stairs, light houses, patios with tables, flags/clothes lines, arch ways ect. It makes for really beautiful builds. I highly recommend it! 👍👍👍

Thank you! Lol and its easy really. You just need recording. And editing software I use Windows Game Bar or Nvida to record. And to edit I use Adobe Premeir Pro. Adobe is stupid expensive tho. I used to use filmora or Movavi (has a built in screen recorder) I'm not sure if you're on Mac or Windows. But if you are on Mac you should be able to use those programs.
