Towson UTeach

Towson UTeach is the first and leading UTeach program in the state, training science and math majors to teach their subjects to 7-12 grade students. The program puts our students in classrooms starting their freshman year, giving them four years of experience before graduation and leading to greater teacher retention rates. They're guided by master teachers who excelled teaching science or math to 7-12 graders before joining Towson University's faculty, and by mentor teachers in their middle- and high school classrooms.
