Just Another Day at the Beach! Off-Road Recovery!

Hey guys!
This video was filmed a few weeks back, when Michael, and Myself went to the beach, looking to help people with vehicles stuck in the soft sand!
Off-road recovery, is how I got into the Towing & Recovery industry, and still one of my favorite things to do, both on, and off the job!

Another great video and very inspiring seeing you help out! Looks like they let 2WD vehicles on the beach? Living in NJ, any beach you can drive on have to show proof your vehicle is 4WD/AWD to get permit to drive on.

Man it’s so weird but I ran across your 4th of July video Wednesday morning and I was in a head on collision when I left. I remember thinking like the towing process looks kinda interesting but oh my God like it would be so horrible for something like that to happen…and then 45 minutes later it happened to me. But thank god my accident was a lot less severe.

I wouldnt advise doing recoveries in the Jeeps unless you are planning to do a lot of transfer case/transmission/diff replacements. Been doing it for years and the jeeps just dont hold up for long. Ive seen a lot of destruction.

You’ll need to be more specific, but Generally a control arm or a tow hook.

Although it definitely helps with traction, a lot of the issue is people don’t understand that momentum and wheel spin are what will make you or break you in the sand.

Shouldnt most cars have the tow hook attachment you can screw in the bumper ?

Some do, but it’s just that, a tow point. Not a recovery point. I very rarely use the tow hooks for towing or recovery because they’re known to break off easily.

Americans are weird in that driving onto the beach sand is illegal in most places. There's crabs living on the beach but you also don't want to step into motor oil when going for a swim.

All state beaches are legal to drive on in Texas thankfully. One of the few states that still allow it
