I remember having a couple of these figures. I had no idea what cartoon or movie they were part of. I had gotten them at a second hand store. They were a bundled grab-bag discount item. As soon as i seen this, i was suddenly transported back to the early 90's. Memories i have long forgotten. What a trip.

GREAT REVIEW! What is interesting is the minor variants that are readily (albeit for a price) available. Headbanger has a variant where his left arm is missing the purple spots like yours has and Junkyard’s sleeves aren’t painted unlike yours.. I have the unpainted shoulders on my junkyard and would one day like to own the painted version.

This, Skeleton Warriors, Visionaries. All so under rated and died off before their time with only one series of cartoons and toys each.

Four horsemen toys is at the least re doing Toxie. It's only a matter of time before we get new toys of Gargoyles, mummies alive, and street sharks

I have Major Disaster complete with all of his stuff, at least used to. i remember way back when I was younger me and a friend of mine used to be a figurine and toys collectors, and in here in the middle east there a specific special celebration month after Ramadan called Shawal probably you heard of them from somewhere, the very first five days of Shawal people here go out and celebrate with fireworks and go to any kind of entertainment centers, visit related and buy toys or video games etc. there was this toy store that used to sell video games and toys like these and me and this friend of mine used to save up some money for this special occasion and then go to this store and buy the latest toys and the toxic crusaders line of toys was just came out at the time, I picked up Major Disaster and my friend picked up Tocsy, used to have major disaster until back in 2018 then I gave him up to a kid that he came with mother to visit my parents, he entered my room and his eyes locked on to this toy in my shelves I saw how he was so interested in it and I gave it to him. kinda bummer I gave away one of my hidden gems on my collection... at least the kid was so happy when I gave it to him so that's good at least but at that time I shifted my attention to collecting video games anyway, still interested in action figures but due to the massive rise in prices to own one I haven't purchased one now days for god knows how many years 😂

I'd hope they would forget about the cartoon and stick to the toy designs. They still haven't done Skeleton Warriors so I'm pessimistic about the future. Yes I know about the Glyos line.

On the Toxic Avenger 2 DVD’s special feature “Toxie Fifteen Years Later” there are 4 fully painted unreleased figures shown in the first 30 seconds - the only 2 I recognize from the tv show are Mayor Grody & Killemoff’s insect boss Czar Zosta....such a shame cuz they look super rad.

Anybody remember a toy from the 90s his name was Mall. He had a big M on his head, he was built like the hulk. Wearing a sorry of superhero getup with gloves and mask? I had this toy as a kid and trying to remember where it's from?

+Odd pod Totally agree man, very colourful bunch of characters and the movies were truly bizarre. Just discovered them recently. They were actually in the family/comedy section in my local video shop which I thought was bizarre.... Though the owner didn't have a clue. Aqua Teen Hunger Force was filed under action

This was the only action figure line I completed as a kid. Yet, it still somehow vanished like so many other childhood trinkets. As much as I dug these toys, I never liked the sprinkles of (glow-in-the-dark?) paint on them. It's a cool idea on paper, but it just made them look dirty to me. Also, for whatever reason, I swear I see Major Disaster way, way more often in toy bins at conventions.

I never knew those figs were so detailed. They look really rad. Did you ever read the comics? They weren't very good but they had Sam Keith covers.

GameDeficiency I have the comics, just on the hard drive again :P I really should read a few more of them, but I do like the pictures :P I did think the covers looked a little out of place (but still really cool). The artwork overall is a lot better than the cartoons :P

They should Reboot this line with newer more SUPER ARTICULATED figures for Adult Collectors! as the TOXIC CRUSADERS CLASSICS!!! just like the MOTU CLASSICS & the THUNDERCATS CLASSICS!!! I would totally collect them all!!!
