You can't look down to or be resentful towards angry/violent people in heated situations. Many of them see trough your words and see you considering yourself to be above them and then they don't want to trust you and instead get even more angry and have a justification for it. You need to show love and strength at the same time. That you aren't afraid of them, but you still care for them and consider them to be your equal.

The only time I give a thumbs down is when the "women should stay home and cook borscht" crap comes out. It's 2020 able women need to be strong and stand up for themselves or take the risk of being hurt/attacked physically and not know how to defend themselves. I don't understand why it's considered disrespectful for a woman to do traditional family duties. When a man and woman marry and form a family unit, it is perfectly sensible for the family to divide the duties so that the household works efficiently. The idea is that one person will focus on a certain set of duties while the other person will focus on a different set of duties in order to work together as a unit and get life done efficiently.
