Ranked on GOW is so insignificant though. There's literally no rewards system or incentive to grind ranked. Really hope E-day changes this.

I agree but I have high Hope's for E-Day. Another thing to remember is so many games come out these days to take up players time so they will know this and will know they have to compete

Being ranked #1 is still an accomplishment within itself, but as far as Gears 5 ranks it just doesnt make any sense. Sure you can have a lot of time invested in another game and be higher in the ranks, but rank 1 in Apex/Cod/CS/Valorant is more impressive due to the fact where your games actually mean something. I believe rank 2 rn in gears 5 ffa has both a negative kd and win loss ratio, which in standards with any other game, would mean they should technically be at lower rank... Just wish gears 5 ranked had any actual meaning to it. Like Icy's recent video on his channel, there is no incentive to grind gears 5 ranked bc you lose, you gain points. you win you gain points. its like a participation medal at this point

When E-day comes out you should do like a mini lesson per video that would be so nice i love the gears games but sometimes i struggle to understand the mechanics and the little tips and tricks especially in 5, and from your tutorials I've learned a lot, anyways i appreciate the content keep it up!

I've just bought paddles, specifically for gears, so i would appreciate a video on these. Its weird and annoyingly i tend to go back using my A button just because of muscle memory

I don't comment on KZbin, but... @DomeZ you're the first person to mention at 6:54-7:05 why it's important to shoot over cover looking down a bit! I watch some KZbinrs that play gow5 only because I don't see gow4 KZbinrs play it much, and I'm a true gow4 player. I've played gow5, the game didn't sit right for me at all with the way it is now!! I stopped playing video games for the sake of not wanting to be stuck in my situation in life, I find the battles and everything that happens entertaining still. I sometimes think of uploading short clips again, as well I don't have the necessary resources to upload on KZbin with good quality (as shown above)👆 my point is, gears of war I enjoy the most.💯 Since gow 2. NOW, BACK TO WHAT YOU SAID! SIZE THIS: *exactly the same thing* however... Stay behind cover, same as that small cover, right! Understand that you must have your character facing to the left or right depending on the opponent rushing you instead in both his opening and yours. *Important* CORRECT your position on the edge of the wall, also looking down expecting your opponent roadie running beside the wall (and it will happen)💯 then, finalize the last few recipes: *immediately aim your weapon, flick your shot, then roadie run along your wall-side to confirm a bodyshot or a headshot or back A or however you chose to confirm your kill in your own way, too! Mind you these are very simple steps that includes* TIMING* not only that, your kills look dirty that way😈 apply it to your matches as a challenge and you'll earn a subscriber! Cheers!💣😎✌️

I won’t tell people what to like or don’t like. I want to people to play what they enjoy. Enjoy what they do etc. but gears 5 ain’t what I look for in a gears game. I think it has some fun stuff in there the mechanics. But also a lot of really ridiculous things too. I wrote a novel on icy’s vid about it. Feel bad for the people who read that. But yeah, certainly not my game. Looking forward to e-day though

Gears 5 is good in a lot of ways. Few things they need to change and it would be great. Just needed a good ranking system to stay in the game, and no more bullet magnetism are the 2 big ones imo. Shotgun is definitely in a good spot other than a few minor things. But the game had the potential to be one of the best gears games they just made it too easy so now everyone can play it.

Your view on the “rank” is completely off. There’s a bunch of games you can get the highest rank and not play that much. Leaderboards and rank are 2 completely different things. Your number 3 on the leaderboard which is good I’m not saying it’s not but has zero to do with a rank of any means. Obviously you’re a masters level player tho I’m not saying you aren’t but the leaderboards only show who plays the most that’s just facts.
