See, I thought Tim Curry was the only person on the planet who could sing a song about pollution the way he did and make it work. That was before I saw the notification. I KNEW you would be more than able and good heavens above. The use of your lower register is impeccable; I can physically feel your voice slithering over my skin in the most perfect way. And that ART!! This has me in a chokehold, I don't know how many times I hit repeat before gathering enough higher brain function to write a comment. I adore how every details from your cover is is a completely cohesive whole, oozing (heh) artistry in every sense. (I also feel it's imperative to leave the same comment here as my favorite comment I ever saw on the original version, because you have well and truly earned it: when you finished recording this, the mic needed a cigarette 🔥) It's not easy to pull off this level of sensuality, in every conceivable situation where you want it to appear, without falling into the tawdry, exaggerated or repetitive (not to say that all your covers are necessarily sexy, just that whenever you want them to be you command them impressively) but damned if you don't do exactly that. First of all: Jesus Christ, I felt that intro in my soul!😆 Second: I am blown away! I feel like your version of Toxic Love was less erotic than the original, and in the best way. The art and the guitar really gave the impression of the sheer destruction involved with Hexxus, more than the movie. Also, that last note and the way the music stopped was phenomenal!👏👏👏
