As someone who plays killer and survivor basically equally, people really need to stop getting so tilted for the other side using tools available to them. Like on killer if I keep getting blinded on pickup usually I just take out the person with the flashlight, or on survivor I am usually the one going for the flashlights. I dunno but people getting upset at killers using good add ons or survivors using good items like BNP is just very strange to me.

You just need to be extra secured and use your head while playing as Killer, usually look around for any survivor if he's around with a flashlight before picking up a survivor or face the wall if there is one close or objects in order to not get flashed, so at the end yes. It's on us Killers

@@geraldhooks1337 Nah I disagree. My main point was that players really shouldn't have to worry about what the community as a whole thinks of certain playstyles. If someone wants to slug me as Twins or play Skull Merchant and 3 gen then fine. I'll think it's lame but I won't BM because they are just using the options provided to them by the game devs. The responsibility shouldn't be placed on individual players if they are tunneling or whatever.

I dont play much killer but in one of my first ten games i was playing doctor and got put up against a group of solos who sabotaged, flash saves, body blocked and caused me to feel like i had no chance, but instead i just pushed on, got a 3 K and cornered the last guy, when i let him go because i respected how well they worked together, it was a tough match so i had plenty of time to think and get myself in a better headspace. Turns out he was a streamer, super chill and we had a good talk about the game, he gave me props for pulling it back. Sorry for the ramble, but it really doesnt take much to just be chill and get along with people, have fun and move on :) we all have bad games

My partner is a small streamer and has thankfully found only kind people in his console games when they decide to come to stream to chat, he actually had a nice killer join his stream before the game even started to say that they would be kind lol. I never understand people who take these games so seriously, it's so disheartening for those starting out. I remember a month ago I encountered a group of three ttvs in a lobby who were all running sabo-builds. Now, when I see TTVs, I pursue them like Nemesis pursues members of S.T.A.R.S (I was ironically playing as Nemesis that round) so my main goal was to get the TTVs and let the non TTV go (which I managed to do). However, I was mostly letting the TTVs bleed out because they were all running boil-over sabo-builds and I wasn’t able to get them to hooks in time for most of the match. One bled out, one got sacrificed, and I mori’d the last one, so my mission was accomplished. However, the TTVs took it upon themselves to call me a “lame-a** killer who doesn’t know how to use hooks”. I could tell they were all extremely upset that their three-man sabo-squad failed and the only one who escaped was the person who wasn’t with them. So, I thought it’d be funny to just type “STARS” in the chat for each response. This just upset them even more and they acted all high-and-mighty saying “loser is roleplaying. KY$”

I was streaming as Pig once and at the start of the match I saw a survivor pointing at me. It looked to me like he was signaling to his team where I was so I ran up and downed him. Instant rage quit. He then came into my chat and yelled at me for several minutes for being a bad sport for not understanding what booping the snoot was and didn’t care at all that he had screwed his teammates over. Fun times.

Its funny but also annoying because How that match played out allowed me to make plays like this because I had the dominate position. I was playing Knight running a Hex build trying to get MAX Pentimento Its sad survivors can't keep it in the game and won't even hear out what the other say and assume the worst. I would understand if i came in being toxic But I just came in telling them what I didn't do and got hate for it... Smh. (Just context for the match itself) The time stamp I put is what I had to do for 1 survivor i had to do that because I had no more hooks in the area and they kept going to a corner so i just stood still and watched that player bleed out and I had pentimento so those gens where gonna take long and there was 2 survivors left. I had no reason to leave to risk a save. 1 gen gets done and now i am at 2 gens and the player dies. I found the hatch and later the last survivor. The instant I hit to end game chat I read (not by the TTV but one of their friends) "Camp tunnel and stream snipe but you wanna shake your head Lmafo. Enjoy your ban idiot" I read that and I was confused so i went to the TTV's chat and told them i did not stream snipe and they got mad at me and assumed i was because in the match earlier on the TTV said i must me stream sniping since I knew their location. So they banned me because they think that was enough evidence when i didn't even get to explain that their friend was being salty in the end game chat even prompting me to show up in the first place. So their friends made fun of me their chat as well...It was a very bad experience one of the worst but it is up there for sure.

This reminds me of a Blight i played against about a month ago in solo que. I was able to dodge him twice and lead him on a bit of a chase (which was a miracle because I suck at looping). When he finally downed me, he left me slugged and proceeded to guard me. The last 3 gens got finished, and he still didn't leave me. My team couldn't save me from bleeding out because he was constantly moving over me He was so determined to see me die.

Personally as someone who plays both sides you use perks and items to help you win the match. It is not being toxic. Telling someone to off themselves irl is toxic. It's a game. Nothing is going to happen if you lose a match or it didn't go how you wanted. Just yesterday I was solo and the other 3 teammates were a swf. I had a Legion main running a super strong Thana build, it was the third time I had run into it in a row, my friends and I gave up we let him hook us all and went next. He came into my chat and went on about how unfair it was that we let him 4K us. I explained, we were running out of time and a drawn out Thana game didn't interest us so we gave him the 4K (not DC) and went next. He went on to say he was running Thana because he just wants to win to which I replied; "And you did." This made him so mad he got a white knight to come into my chat and start making up things I was saying so that he would have something to respond to in order to have this huge, salty argument that he was apparently wanting to have; with himself. The next game was a Trickster and it was a tough game where we got one out, Trickster comes into the chat and we're making friends with them while this Legion and his white knight are still doing their schtick to an audience of no one cause no one is paying attention to them until the Trickster tags both of them in my chat and says; "Are you guys okay?" After that dead silence from those two. Weirdest salty killer I have ever run into.

I had one recently where it was a full sabo/boil over squad against me. They brought the offering to seperate hooks and two of them were already dead, so hook options were VERY limited. They kept running to the same corner to get downed. I knew I couldn't make it to the nearest hook, but tried anyway as a courtesy. They wiggled free like I expected. I downed the remaining two in that same corner. One of them actually crawled closer to a hook so I could make it and I obliged. The same one that I had downed earlier stayed in the same spot and I had to let her bleed out. Next thing I know I'm getting hate messages on my PS5 the whole next match

Was playing killer last night, was doing my best not to tunnel; but I did slug a few times when I saw the mori option come up. Had a solid 3 gen situation, everyone hooked or caged twice; then the minute I mori someone. The gens popped. None had progress, guess a hacker decided that they had enough. But even with that, I saw no reason to he toxic. Surely I asked "Hacker?" And their response "I don't know what you're talking about" few more simple exchanges and explainations on why I believed they were hacking. Then I just said it was fun and GGs. It's not that hard, just have fun.

Slugging one person in particular is the strangest form of toxicity to me. The survivor player is free to step away from the game at that point and do whatever while the killer has to constantly monitor the downed survivor (and gens if they still try to win somehow). Not only are they bad keeping themselves composed and cutting their losses, they’re bad at the game too.

I flashlight saved my friend twice when I last played. The full slowdown nurse who was hardcore tunnelling DC’d, called me boosted, and then went on to call me every single racial slur in existence, then finished it off by wishing death upon my mother (who has already passed). I’m not upset over it but these kinds of things can really push some people over the edge, all because of a flashlight save lmao. (Also disclaimer I don’t care what builds or killer strats people use, I just find it funny that the strongest killer with the strongest build called me boosted for getting two saves)
