Hey VV, thank you for your guides. I've been trying to level this build as SSF 2 times to see if I can start next leaugue with it, and i gotta tell you - first 3 acts are painful, especially 1st, because you branch the build start through life/eva nodes. I dealt tickle damage and the progress was such a slog. Did the 1-30lvl twice to make sure i wasn't unlucky - nope. Recently tried the other build, that goes through projectile damage-ballistic mastery-method to madness path, and it was a life changer. Sure, i died a few times, but the clear speed made up for defence loss. I mean, we can and should respec into life nodes later, but starting with them... I think a lot of novice players would be discouraged with the build, because it starts out as a damn zombie. again, huge thanks for your builds. Just wanna tell you my experience. Peace

I tried using your loot filter for a leveling trial run and one thing I noticed immediately is that it is too strict at the start. Especially at league start you want the filter to show everything the first few levels so you can sell stuff for scrolls, transmutes, and alterations. Otherwise great house. I always love how much detail you put in your guides. If you do another version for 3.16 an order of upgrades section would be good.

To smooth out the mana, let me remind everyone that Toxic Rain builds have a an easy synergy fix that not a lot of people take advantage of: *Skill effect duration* Get as much skill effect duration % and your Vaal Clarity can last up to 30~ seconds. That’s usually enough to kill most map bosses and keep you from going out of mana when your mana flasks are dry. it’s also a *more* multiplier for your dps

@@VonVikton No problem. I’ve played TR/CA for four leagues now. I highly recommend leveling with Caustic Arrow and Arrow Nova as it doesn’t require attack speed, thus being easy on mana after reserving auras. You just run around dropping nukes 🙂

How are you going to counteract the mana changes? If i'm not wrong a 6-Link Toxic Rain will cost about 40 - 50 mana now, will enduring mana flask be enough to cover it?

Yesh it deff sucks. Getting - mana cost on jewelry we will deff have to do that. And then enduring eternal mana flask. Honestly well have to see if its enough no one really knows right now but I think it should be ok if you use the mana flask

Hey Von! Great guide, I'm looking at TR Raider for my league starter. I'd love to pick allocate 6 points on the tree difference to grab the ele ailment nodes around crystal skin to bring the Raider back up to 100% ailment immunity. Any recommendations on where to save 6 points? The tree looks really optimized as-is. I'm looking at the Farsight nodes for 3 points, the jewel slot above ranger start for 2 points and a random evasion node.

Im torn between starting as TR or traps this league, jus't cant choose xD. Also, The Front Line cluster seems like a really neat tech, i would try to implement the new ward mechanic on the build if possible at some point to make the hits that you can't evade a little bit smaller. What are those nodes called? I only find "Crystal Skin" with "chance to avoid" if it's that what u mean? And if so, what other passives are u missing out instead?

@@tebi8812 With the Crystal Skin and the small you get 20%. With Thick Skin and the other 3 small, u get more 20% and with Elemental focus, 10%. I'll change the nodes from health for that. Being more squish but for archer builds u need to move all the time

Hey Von, first time playing Raider, first time following one of your guides. I am having trouble with low red maps. Somehow it feels very clunky and on bosses the damage seems to be lacking. My Toxic Rain is lvl 19 and has +3 from bow.

Just level it up and try to corrupt it to 21, the DPS increase is huge. Also try to 20/20 your Support gems

For interest, you can take out conc effect, add -non ch on amulet, and the jewel VON mentioned. This took my toxic rain to no cost

@@silverfox7644 i used that jewels but i still had mana issues, then i crafted a mana flask with endurance mod, fixed all my mana problem, i even thought i no need -7 mana cost on my rings anymore.

I may have done the math wrong, but looks like IC will cost 105 mana every time it triggers (not accounting for -mana cost modifiers). Probably something else to look out for, especially if you want to run The Frontline.
