I take it for granted that most criminals are not particularly smart, but these people have left me dumbfounded. Did Kim Ricco really think the police would just take her word for it that her husband had been drunk & smoking cigars? The medical examiner takes the cake though. The way he disposed of the syringe was totally unprofessional & suspicious. Then lying about her medical history was incredibly stupid. He was a medical examiner for Christ's sake! If someone should know better it would be him. I'm completely gobsmacked by their stupidity.

I don't know if they just get overconfident, or if they just think the investigation will never start because people trust them too much. I’m so glad that Wendy spoke to her friends, and that her friends spoke out honestly to the detectives. Ed, Tom and LouAnna are greedy, controlling, pathetic individuals. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Ed and Tom had a plan to kill each other’s wives. Like the plot of that old movie. This whole story is like a series of scenes from bad movies. Lou Anna was probably next. 😳 I can just imagine Ed thinking that he had come up with the perfect crime. 🙂🐿🌈❤️

Botched the job? Riiiigghht. 🙄 He was only the medical examiner. So that wasn't belivable. And being distraught and not thinking clearly was BS. He couldn't make himself look more guilty if he tried. Now, I know this case is from many years ago. And I think he is even deceased now. After his original verdict was overturned, he got off way too easily, being sentenced to only a couple of years for manslaughter. But, like most narcissistic sociopaths, he proclaimed his innocence til the end. A couple of years after Kay's murder, their son took his own life. That was a direct result of believing his father did indeed kill his mother, so he couldn't live with that knowledge. Sybers left a trail of death and heartache. That's what these murderers don't think about or even care. They ruin so many lives on top of the ones they have already taken. But since they don't care, they are not bothered by the carnage they leave behind.
