Speaking of double eagle…. Anyone know if their uppers would fit on a ghk lower? I have a mk18 and I want to build a super short upper for this one shoot house I play that has a bunch of really tight corners

I have bought the toxicant MCX rattler and spear lt. I think it's quite well made, also compeared to tokyo marui. Toxicant's mws system is all made by steel.

@@BadaBingPictures how is it with you, I have been playing for so long with red dots that a few years ago I started missing Iron sights. With no laser forward grip just plane simple old school. Have you experienced any thing like that?

All good here, thanks. Yourself? Yes. Before I stopped playing I had a few games where I used carry handle irons on my TM, and they were very effective. Also using the AKM sights too. Although my eyesight really doesn’t do well these days at extended distances.

nice, sorry to hear about your eye sight. this is off topic but sun gazing and eye training focusing from close to far rapidly multiple times maybe could help. some people swear by it especially with sungazing. looking into the sun ar sunrise or sun set when its red and not strong. apparently the ultraviolet light together with the infrared light supposed to be healing. take a look into it.

All those Sig pistols i get break cylinders far too easy. Have 5 of them for just parts. Anyone else breaking cylinders and having a hard time removing the housing RMR screws? Use a ton of heat,it’s the only way! Great vid as usual! Can’t wait for another full length drop! Ultra

I don't own NOD's but I'll pass on what I've observed! The raised platform for the Holosight and PEQ box is for users with night vision devices due to collision interference when aiming down the sights, usually NOD's collide with the rifle without it. While not absolutely needed, it certainly makes it easier to ready your aim. But then again, some people like it because its more comfortable for them. I believe PEQ box is also raised to be as in-line as possible with your sight, or for shorter barrelled rifles where top-rail space is a luxury. It might be a little too high, but if you want a retro styling of it, you could try to mount your sight to a carry handle M4 if using nods? I think you gotta have quite the chin to go with that though.

I understand the theory behind it. I’m basing its merits purely on its looks, and it looks ridiculous. After all, 90% of airsoft is all about looks. Or so they say, heh. Surely a snagging hazard to a degree too.

as soon as it drops the "x" from the name and starts to be adopted, more airsoft manufacturers will start looking into this rifle. If not delayed, it's meant to start to be deployed this March

In the old days every musket/rifle looked the same way, and now we're back where every rifle looks like a URG-I. My collection is from the period in between, where there was a lot of variety. And I'm sorry but I will not buy a gun ('s replica) which has a wireframe handguard, looks like a transmission tower.

@@BadaBingPictures I like FDE, it's a neutral colour. Well, except when it's a TM plastic slide and it's up close, then it's very toyish. But then again, I like OD and black too. Black is my favourite but that's not very good in the forest, where I used the play most of the time.

@sogerc1 I would like to see more OD coloured guns. When it’s done professionally it looks wonderful. And yes, FDE on ABS plastic looks awful after a while. Once that shine gets on there…yuck

Well everyone sees things differently. Perspectives and whatnot. To me it’s futuristic, with all that scaffolding on the front end, all the elaborate machining and multi-storey diving boards. If you’re a young’un it’s current.

True, it actually surprises me that scifi airsoft guns don't sell well. Especially in AEG formats, seems like it would be a good pairing since AEG don't operate like a real firearm like GBB does. I'd love to have a COD style IMR rifle.
