He was very overconfident while self-damaging while trying to gain more maneuverability but it paid off. On the 2nd map I think he struggled and his opponent was trying to hide and run down the clock which I think is a bitçh move but it is a gameplay mechanic that you can use.

No thanks. People already beat shotgun with rocket launcher in close range. It's absurd. If self damage is reduced rocket launcher will be the only close range weapon.

@@beri4138 What? That doesn't make any sense, ssg deals more dmg than rl and it is easier to use which is absurd, does not belong to a quake game. Quake should be about rl, lg, rg, throw in plasma but do not make sg more powerful up close then the rl. Prior to qc no pro ever used a sg, now every close range battle is about sg, discusting.
