The male singer is Moroccan and the female singer is Parsi, Iranian and Pakistani. They are probably familiar with Arabian culture.

Sjoerd yeah exactly. It’s not really fair to say that something would piss off the so-called SJWs when the singers themselves are from a cultural background that “reflects” the song. Plus it’s like... it’s just a light-hearted song. Not really meant to be taken seriously Just sounds like a salty white person who just wants to make a scene over “political correctness”, which doesn’t really affect anyone anyway unless they want to say racial/homophobic slurs or commit harassment. Lol

While it is true that is what the producers had in mind (literally it's on their Wikipedia entry), while I like both groups as EuroDance/Euro Pop, I strangely prefer Toy Box. Their two albums were all too brief. Sadly they're not super well known in North America where I'm at in the English speaking world, but alas they should have been. This is super fun, catchy music that is upbeat & positive.
