Thanks for always doing these walk and talks . Always look forward to these . I was able to pick up the Black Spider-Man this afternoon at Target. There is a deluxe NBA Jam near me for 375 that is tempting and there is a Shaq Jam for 400. What would PD7 do?

I love that Chris Claremont/Jim Lee X-Men #1 cover Wolverine. That issue is what got me heavily into comics way back in the day. I’m going to have to pick that up and Lethal Protector #1 Venom for my collection.

12:15 Nintendo says they will announce the Switch 2 by the end of the current fiscal year, which is March 2025. And I suspect they’ll probably release it holiday 2025. So, we’ve probably got at least a year before we’ll get our hands on the Switch 2, and I imagine it’s probably going to be $400. Edit: Plus, there’s speculation that the Switch 2 will NOT be OLED as a cost saving measure. There may be an OLED version, but it’ll definitely be more than $350. Remember, early adopters pay the most, and by this time next year demand will be so high for it there won’t be any Black Friday deals, if you can even find one. So, I’d get an OLED Switch thru a Black Friday deal now, and then decide on the Switch 2 when we have more information.

@@PDX7, You will decide what’s best for you. I know you have FOMO on deals. The Switch is great and I’ve loved owning my base Switch, Lite, and OLED. But if you’ve waited this long, you probably can wait another 6 months to a year for the Switch 2. However, you’ll pay more and it might have features you don’t like. By getting the OLED now or next week, you know exactly what you’re getting and you’ll be able to enjoy Capcom Arcade Fighting Collection (or whatever it’s called) as soon as it comes out. Best of luck in your decision. 😊

Hey Phil! Here's what I would do... cancel the preorder for the Evercade alpha that will have no online play to stream, no hdmi out to stream on pc or tv, make you buy into a whole new eco system of cartridges with none being online, and when you have countercades already. Not to mention the megaman and street fighters collections are on switch anyway. Then buy a switch for $250-300 in a bundle via Amazon or Costco. Everyone saying wait for switch 2... they announced they're making an announcement of the switch 2 announcement in March so it'll release next holiday season 2025. Then the OLED came out about 3 years after the original. The physical copy of The Punisher comes out in two weeks. Don't wait a year to play it with us 😂 But it's completely up to you I don't mind either way man. I gotta grab Skidz and everyone else's friend codes.

PD7, I'm kind of glad you didn't pick up Lion-o. Such a great figure of course, I love classic Thundercats, but I remember your episode where you took back Simpsons figures due to you running out of room. You had said you were going to stick with Marvel and DC to solve the issue. However, one can always change their mind and think whatever feels right to you is the best way to go. It's crazy the hunt for the new Secret Wars line. I hope you get every one you want. I still have all my original Secret Wars figures. Back then, stores were full of them, probably due to no internet back then. I was lucky enough to get all of them, both series 1 and 2 including all playsets and accessories. They got played with though, so I also ended up buying replacement figures for certain ones when they'd get worn out. I think I bought four Doctor Octopus's as that one broke most often with it's additional arms. Back then Secret Wars figures cost me $3.99 a piece, it's crazy how much action figures cost today. Good hunting my friend! vgv

Good morning Phil, It always tough deciding on what to get before Black Friday. The thing with Nintendo even though the console is 7 years old it has hold its value well. I think last years Black Friday deal was the same for the OLED at 349 with smash bros included plus 3 months of Nintendo Online subscription . Switch 2 will arrive first quarter of 2025 March is what many are speculating. I would still wait to see if there are any incentives. Switch is such a fun console. It’s totally worth 349 with Mario Kart 8 included. It’s always fun shopping around this time, takes me back when I was a kid. 👊🏼awesome walk and talk.

Well been struggling with my car hours now and getting nowhere. I kept putting on the new belt, go start the car and it would come off. I am like what the crap? After a few times I noticed the a/c compressor was loose and hanging off the block. Turned out the mounting bracket broke apart! Of all the luck and I have 2 more nuts I can't get loose on the rest of the bracket that is attached to the compressor. Such a pain and I am racking my brain right now trying to figure out how I'm going to get those bolts loose and remove the rest of the broken bracket. It is at the bottom of the front of the engine and it's a front wheel drive which makes it more difficult and less room to work. On top of that my back is killing me and I am going forward in reverse. Ugh! If I don't figure this out and fix this my wife and I are going to be screwed. My Grand Prix is the only car we have right now.

​@@PDX7 Thanks man. Well I finally got the broken pieces of the bracket off, then installed the extra bracket I had from my other Grand Prix. Also had 2 bolts missing to hold up the a/c compressor and one bolt one was broken on the compressor. I still have 2 bolts to keep it on the bracket. So after that I installed it on the bracket and mounted it back on the engine. Then put the serpentine and supercharger belts on. Fired up the car and everything was good! Then picked up and cleaned all my tools, let her run for a bit, shut her off. And came inside the house. Man was that a royal pain. I was praying myself and He gave me the knowledge I needed to get the job done.Thanks again for the prayers my friend, much appreciated!

Switch 2 will be released 2025, Costco has the same package $399 with a 256 Gb memory card and a carrying case. The prices won’t go lower, things changed because of COVID. Most Companies start the Black Friday deals 1 week before and keep it going 1 week after.

Yesterday me and my wife went out shopping at Hobby Lobby, when we were done she asked where else I wanted to go and my answer was “I want to be like PD7 today!” So we went to GameStop, Kohls and Walmart too with a lunch break at Waffle House. We picked up birthday stuff for her Mom (birthday today) and a few Christmas items too. Saw some cool figures but nothing on the must have list. But it was just fun to get out and about. It was a good day 👊🏻🕹️😎

It's starting to look a lot like Christmas eh? Told Eve not to get me any presents. I'm a sorta depressed mood which is unusual being this is my favorite holiday. Nice thing about Amazon is anything under "Free Returns" you have until the end of January to send back for a refund. So say you get a switch during the holidays sales and you hear announcements of switch 2 as long as you keep all the product materials you can return it

Switch 2 should be out within the next 6 months at this point. It's going to be compatible with Switch 1 games. I'd wait unless you can get a killer deal and then you could trade it in towards Switch 2.
