Great toy room! My favourite has to be the way you displayed the loose Droid figures, very aesthetically pleasing to look at. You have a good eye and real understanding of how they aren't just pieces of art individually, but an art all its own displaying toy figures.

Hi, I've been watching your videos for quite some time now, and I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate the videos you produce. Being a collector myself, I have a great appreciation for another collector who not only shares their collection and finds with others, but helps other collectors repair what they already own. You really are quite unique in this sense, and it's always a pleasure to watch your videos, even my son will watch alongside Dad once in a while! Cheers!!!

I wish I could display my things. I somehow managed to keep 90% of my childhood toys. Sadly all mine are boxed in one of my walk-in closets. Your videos helped me fix most of them. I still collect, just watching how much. My signed toy. The Blank legitimately signed by Madonna. It has been professionally certified. Long story. Great display Dave! Keep the love/hobby going!!!!

Great collection. Way more neatly displayed than mine. I've got a lot of work to do before I can post a collection video. Love the Tiamat!

Toy Galaxy It spent many years in boxes until I moved to a house with enough space for me to display some of it. I still have more boxed so will rotate my display. Tiamat is one of my favourite finds of recent years.

Toy Polloi Yes, great collection and very classy way of displaying. I particularly thought that the hanging ships on the wall was clever. You actually have a lot more stuff than you've let on :) Since you're a 70's 80's "man-child", what about Thundercats? Voltron? Those were some big 80's icons besides GI Joe and Transformers. Do you have any of those? I'm very nosey ;) Thank you for sharing, D!
@toypolloi10 жыл бұрын
whie8crow I guess it is quite a large collection. I have been collecting for 20 years. But I do get rid of stuff when it gets to busy. I did a video a while back about hanging ships, if you have a small room, it's the best way of displaying them. I was never into Thundercats of GI joe. So none in my current collection. How knows what I will get into in the future!

Awesome collection! I noticed you have mostly carded ROTJ like me. The earlier Star Wars and Empire ones are crazy expensive! I noticed a Willow action figure on that shelf too, I loved those! Always thought that was a very underrated toyline and movie too.
@toypolloi10 жыл бұрын
Mister 80 Retro I only buy carded figures if they are cheap, so that limits me to ROTJ. You do get the odd SW or ESB card cheap, but not often.

Hello Mr. Polloi, great looking collection, what do you suggest for finding a cheap AT-AT cockpit cover and side-swing door? I have searched eBay endlessly and they are always going for loads of money, which to me is ridiculous. I won't spend $30 on a canopy cover, but unlike the cannons which can be made from the clear plastic pole pieces you use, there really is no "fix" to getting the proper big parts like that. I know you're a patient man, but any other tips to finding those parts individually?
@toypolloi8 жыл бұрын
+ianA All I can say is be patient. They occasionally come up for sale at a nor all price. I picked up a canopy cover last year for £10. Still more than I would have liked to pay. Prices for all star wars toys are really high at the moment. Might be best to wait until they come down again.
@ia56628 жыл бұрын
Toy Polloi thanks so much, I will remain patient and I'm glad you were able to get one for much less than I've seen.
