Now this is a review!!! Forget limiting to only 20-30 minutes segments. Showing everything and explaining everything in one go is how it's suppose to be done. Good job!!

thanks brother. Unfortunately, there's a good amount of viewees that drop off after 10 minutes or so, so it puts me between a rock and hard place.

Great review. This is easily one of my favorite SOC's! I agree, when you combine them and put them on the stand you go "Ahhhh yeah!"

Something about a robot riding a robot horse is one of the most badass things you can have.

I highly recommend checking out Super Robot Wars OG. Some of the best Mecha designs of all time, imo

Watching this review for the first time after years of having watched the Inspector and now I really miss seeing these characters animated. I bought The Moon Dwellers a long time ago but I didn't want to play it because I knew it'd make me want an anime adaptation. Hopefully someday we get at least an ova for some anniversary. Amazing figures !! (well, Dygenguar is...Aussenseiter is a nightmare to transform and you kinda have to cheat with extra pieces for it to work).

Pretty tempted to get a Kotobukiya Dygenguar someday, I think slightly larger and in my preferred kit form. Awesome set this though and doubt the kit form will ever get this much versatility.

Hey thanks. I would LOVE to insert anime and game footage, but unfortunately it's considered copyrighted materials and would make videos not eligible for any kinda' advertisements.

I love SRW OG too (Game more than the Anime). Both of those mecha are sweet, but I'm sorta holding out hope for SRC versions of them to go with my Alteisen and Weissritter.

Great review! You should youtube some of their attack animations in the SRW game. Especially the latest PS3 game 2nd SRW OG. They are a treat to the eyes and showcase what these badasses are capable of P.S. Slightly disappointed that you never once called Dygenguar by his alternate name: DYZENGAR!!!

Figures are wonderful. But the transformation was a disappointment, to be honest. Aussenseiter as horse just didn't look right to me. And you have to do too much part swapping. So, no, unfortunately not for me.

I still absolutely love it. Honestly SRW transformations like many super robot series are fuckery at very least so parts forming and the like is pretty much a must

@@KumaStyle I probably underestimated it. I didn't know SRW at the time and was just stunned of the figures and of the concept (a warrior changing to the horse of his companion!). But in the end, well, it didn't work out for me. I'm obviously more one for the straightforward perfect transformations like Godmars or Gaogaigar or the like. Kudos to Bandai to take a go at a SRW couple, though! (And great review, btw!)

I have this set, and Dydenguar & Aussenseiter are 2 of my all-time favorite mech designs from the Super Robot Wars game(s) and anime, but the horse is a fucking *_disaster of a design._* I know this isn't a toy meant for kids and it's aimed at the adult collector, but parts should NOT fall off all over the place just because you exhale on them. First of all it pissed me off that it's not a true transformation, and the horse head and front legs look utterly _tiny and ridiculous_ unless you swap them out for better proportioned parts. You should _not_ have to do that if it was designed properly in the first place. Secondly, the back legs are a _nightmare._ Not only do those tabs they're supposed to lock into not hold onto the back leg bars at all, but the little clip that snaps into a hole does not function, either. I have to keep a zip-tie around the inside of the horse's waist or else the back legs just splay right apart. The thing will not stand on its own, let alone with the rider on, so there's no other option than to use the stand, and then just never touch it after that. I like to fiddle with my toys, I don't run a toy museum and I like to handle my stuff, but this set is covered with a thick coat of dust because just thinking about it makes things fall off of it. I have more fun playing with Wolfkaiser and Steedergon toys from Mahou Sentai Magiranger. Dydenguar is great and when in robot mode, Aussenseiter is fine, but I got this mainly to combine them and it's more like a puzzle with a bunch of separate parts than a transforming mech toy. Bandai dropped the ball on this one.

Great review of an equally great set! But, man, my wallet asked to tell he kinda really hates you now; you just made him to part with $300! ;)
