Same here my store in Delaware had four so I got two and then last night another Walmart had 3 here and there selling for $32.98 plus Delaware is tax free so definitely glad I didn't need to run to another state for him

You say he's not worth it but the hunt was worth it. Because you found it, your search is over. If you didn't find it. You'd still be looking. The hunt and the chase gets you out the house and it makes it all worth it because it was fun and now you have something to talk about with the community. I found him on my 2nd day. It was fun.

I found him at my second Walmart and I regret not snagging the 2nd one they had just to help out a fellow collector and making sure it didn't get scalped. I dont have the original so I am happy to have this in my collection

i would love to get this guy in the uk, i think the matte works better for kaio-ken than the shine, although i'd swap the old faces on if i got it

Great review! I was wondering on the difference of this one from the older one. I literally ordered the SSJ4 Goku and Yuzuriha from your website yesterday. I got it delivered today 😊 I was shocked how fast it was delivered but I found out you’re not far from where I live so I’m excited for more to come.😊

What makes you think that this one wont be a rarity in a few years?? If you bought it of a scalper than it means you know it will be worth more no matter the details, every drop from sh figuarts will always be different and rare. My local Target had 6 of these in stock, Im no scalper but I did get one

If you have the older kaioken goku you can use the face plates on that one. the skin tones are identical.

This figure looks good but what absolutely ruins it for me is how all his other interchangeable faces have eyes looking to the sides, it really hinders posing for me and I find it incredibly annoying. I think I’m just gonna stick to the previous Kaioken Goku cuz at least his faces face forward and I still do like the oversaturated pinkish purplish hue on the red. Happy new year, Dstar!!!

If you have the other kaioken goku you can use those face plates cause the skin tones are identical.

yeah exactly, i prefer the matte finish but the faceplates are annoying, if i were to get the new one i'd swap the faces

So you paid scalper prices for basically a recolored kaio-ken goku? Of course its not worth it in the sense you paid over triple the price. That's whats wrong with collectors a lot of the time is that they're impatient. But as a collector myself I cant talk either 😂. In all honestly i wanted this fig but wasnt gonna go crazy looking for it. It was more of a if i happen to see it ill get it. Luckily for me i got it yesterday at target for retail. A fellow collector of mine posted that he found them at a local target. There were like 10+ at the store. So patience does pay off at times

At this point in my life, I feel like I make enough where I can afford it. I don't have time to go toy hunting, I got a kid, a 9 to 5, a business, a KZbin channel that's failing and other things. It's a small price to pay for the time I save to spend with my kid.

I saw one for 65 on ebay. dont know if its legit but it got a sticker on it edit: Oh yeah it must be the original because it has that same sticker as the one you showed.
