The vehicle is called the Airjet-Cycle and it actually exists in the comics. Even The Thing had his doubts it could carry him

I think that hover bike or whatever it is is actually from the comics. I remember seeing it in the "Nightmare in Green" episode of the 90's Fantastic Four cartoon.
