Congratulations on a new WR for this game. Apart from the tiny amount of misfortune that you had with the bit at 33:08, this run looked like it went very smoothly and successfully. I'm intrigued by the technique that you use against Zurg. You deliberately kill yourself but in a way where you are then able to defeat Zurg really quickly afterwards. I've seen this technique used in other speedruns for this game, but I don't think I've seen this technique used on the PS version. Does this technique only work on the PC or something?

Hey, Friend! First of all thanks for the kind words. For Zurg, it is faster to kill yourself against him to set him up for a good position in the corner; this happens because on PC the game runs at 60fps and because of this reason it is impossible to defeat Zurg in the inteded way of doing so which is to just approach him and spin him normally, this is why we try to corner him using the walls. On the PS1 version the game runs at 30fps and you can defeat him the inteded way which is a tiny bit faster if you do it perfectly; instead of dying you just go straight at him and keep hitting him back and forth without the need to corner him, this is also used on the N64 version. However since it could be a bit harder to do it this way even though it's potentially 2 seconds faster, a lot of runners still choose to corner him on versions that are not PC for consistency sake. (Sorry for long explanation)
