This DVD was released on March 20, 2001, individually separate from the twin pack box-set.

This is the old individual release of the original TS DVD that came out back in the early 2000's. Prior to this, it and the silver color packaged Toy Story 2 were released in the "Ultimate Toy Box" set. Both of them were released on their own later after the latter set came out in October 2000.

I have both Toy Story 1 and 2 DVD’s like that! Those were actually my childhood copies as well! Toy Story 2 is like that also but the background is actually silver
