Here's my review for one of the Toy Story Mega Morphers. This time it's the grey version of Buzz Lightyear. `

My little brother found this toy in a thrift shop about 11 or 12 years ago. The missile and the belt were gone, but otherwise in perfect condition. After its rescue from the thrift shop this toy has endured childhood adventures of three different boys, being handed down like in the movie. It has been draaged around EVERYWHERE, taken to seaside beach and to bath, buried in the flower patch by the dog and once even frozen in the backyard pond for the whole winter. It's still fine. Every bit working, nothing broken. And made three boys so far increadibly happy. So, I would definitely recommend it for kids, despite what the guy in the video is saying.

My mom Got this for me at disney world in 2009 as a 4 year old. I was too excited to play with him I never read how to transform him...THANKS MAN!

It's kind of amazing what you'd see marketing do to companies back in the day. These days we care a lot about accuracy and you don't see a lot of insane variants but then you have the 80s and 90s where we just were like "Hey! Let's take Buzz Lightyear and make him a Transformer! Never mind the fact his form was never meant to change into anything, let's just do it!" and the result is a toy like this which is VERY obviously not really a great one these days but there's such a dorky charm that one can't help but admire.

Thanks! Got it as a gift a few years ago and my son was able to half transform it. We were delighted to find your video and fully transform it. It will now not be sorted out of his toys as it has become even more interesting.

I have had this toy for YEARRRRSSSSS!!!! It was given to my kid as a hand me down and I had no idea what it did or how to transform it and finally I looked on line since it’s now my second sons toy and we were so excited/happy to finally complete it!! Thank you for posting!!! You made our day!

I've had a version of this for over a decade. Can't remember if it was for Toy Story 2, or for Star Command. But I do know that mine had a different combonation. It invovled Sug in vehicle mode attaching to the front of Buzz's vehichle mode. Basically you flip the very tip on the front of Buzz's vehicle mode, and there is 2 little tab connectors that you can fold out. The 3rd figure involved was one of those tiny green aliens, and when he transformers, he attaches to the top of Sug.

I had one as a kid and my mom got rid of it because she thought I didn’t play with it anymore ( I really just lost it and could never find it) and it broke my heart. Now I have a daughter who is about to be two and her favorite movies are the toy story ones and i was telling my wife about this specific toy and long story short you helped me win an argument with this video

the only place anyone would ever see them in retail is at a disney warehouse store which are shops that sell park only items at lower prices when they need to get them out of the park, but i don't know if those stores have locations everywhere, or if there only near the parks.

You can add mantel figures on the mega morpher transformers 1. Mega morpher zurg and ion blaster zurg 2. Regular mega morpher buzz and thunder punch buzz 3. Mega morpher techno gear buzz and cyberhook techno gear buzz But for the blue mega morpher techno gear buzz I will use the sealth buzz lightyear figure

Great review! How much did you pay for the Zurg figure? Just for anyone who cares, The Mega Morphers line consisted of Buzz Lightyear (Spaceship), Techno Gear Buzz (Virtual Vehicle), and Zurg (Tank). They were released for Toy Story 2 in 1999/2000 and were rereleased at Disneyland and World in a different packaging for Buzz Lightyear of Star Command later on. The Techno Gear Buzz had a Blue Chrome Repaint and Zurg had Purple Chrome for the Metal Morphers line, which I don't know much about.

as far as crossovers, seems like they do all suck. the original tank hulk is actually quite cool though, seems to be the only one worth buying. I would highly recommend him if not just for his dual spring loaded punching gimmicks that are surprisingly effective
