This is how I remember the legend that was Toyah! 4ft 10" of sheer energy! The live version of Danced is so much better than the studio one. I remember being mesmerized by this sheer bundle of energy at the Cardiff Top Rank in the early 80's. She was on a par with Siouxie and that is saying something! Looking back now, I realise that Iam still as infatuated now at 55 as I was then as a teenager. And, if you are listening Toyah, Iam still waiting!

*Danced* I love you, strange man You had come from so far away Talking We were talking, well we tried Then we danced Laughing We were laughing But then we touched I just broke Down crying I felt your planet so far away Touching the love From your distant star The pains the troubles past From your distant star We've been waiting 2000 years for you to come again Such a long, long time Just to learn the truth And then we Danced (solo) Dance! Dance! Dance your life away! -Toyah Wilcox.
