IL COMPAGNO is a small Italian restaurant tucked away in Imizu-shi, Toyama. The chef has had various experiences and finally opened this restaurant around 2015. There are only a limited number of seats, so be sure to reserve ahead of your visit. The appetizers are incredibly flavorful, and the most fun part of the meal, I feel. The pizzas are ok, but the pasta is cooked al dente and flavored well. Don't forget to finish with dessert like tiramisu.
