Just got this today and its excellent. From the eyes, to the straps on the helmet, to the textured shirt, and down to the boots. The detail in the video doesn't do it justice. I cant stress enough how next level the figure is.

The accessories not being scaled up is a big miss for me, especially Bebop. His drill gun looks TINY in his hand, and both of the shields look small. The Foot Soldier's "turtle grabber" claw weapon is SMALLER than the vintage version. To me, a big part of the charm of the vintage line was how wacky the over-sized weapons looked.

Yeah I agree the shields are way too small. I put the shield in rocksteady’s hand and thought that realistically it’s pretty pointless. It’s like a frisbee compared to him.

The grenades will hook to his belt. I agree the gun could use more paint. But man this guy is awesome.

I really like the figure overall it is really fun to play with but if I could change just two little things: make his head a fraction or two smaller and make his upper body a little bit bigger. Not his arms just his upper chest. It should’ve been just a bit beefier up top.

The sculpt is really good but -I hate being repetitive but- feel they need improve the articulation. The ball joint on the neck feels very underused , like it was with Splinter and Baxter on wave1, I was hoping they had improved on that but unfortunately it's not the case. I feel they could have without any major issue implement hinged jaw, ab crunch and better articulation on the arms. It feels a bit of a waste not to be able to pose these great sculpts and do some interesting photography

You gotta be kidding me! No paint on his rifle?! No notches on the belt for the grenades or knife? That’s a damn shame! I already bought him but that’s disappointing! I thought he’d get an unhelmeted head or something. He just comes with foot soldier weapons w minimum paint. Oh well, Good review!

I just got mine, and I am less than impressed. I like Super 7 and I like every other figure of theirs that I have, so I promise I am not a hater. But this guy... His legs are like this light, hollow, hard plastic. They're basically weightless so there's nothing to anchor him to the ground (bad legs is a theme with S7 TMNT). He is SO top heavy that I can't get him to stand in anything but the old-school MOTU squat. I had to carve away some of the material on the underside of his head, as he couldn't really pitch upward. I disagree that he can hold his rifle with no problems (didn't plan to use it anyway though, IMO guns are boring). I wish they would have painted the bullets on his left wristband. I broke the shield the first time I tried to get it in his hand. Bebop and Slithe are MAGNIFICENT; they can do big chonksters well. But this dude did not turn out. Seems he was cost reduced or something.

He looks cool, but his head looks to big for his body. They should have either bulked up his body or made his head a little smaller.

If you could only have one or the other, would you choose the neca animated versions or these? Do the neca versions scale well with the super 7 turtles? I apologize ahead of time if youve already talked about it, newbie here

Definitely the star of the wave! My only gripe is that his hip joints are kinda loose, but he still stands and poses fine.

The fact that Rocksteady got human looking and smaller feet compared to Bebop always bothered me, I had hoped they might make those more similar to Bebop’s scale

I've been looking for a properly sour grapes line of reasoning since I missed the start of this line and a lot of the figures are out of my price range, so I'll never get into it despite really, really wanting to: Rocksteady, Muckman, Leatherhead... a lot of those heads are just way too big for me.

Painting the gun stock, handle, front side panels and scope plus giving the manhole cover a wash to make it look weathered would have made this feel more “premium”. Hope Super7 isn’t going down the Hasbro route and cheapening out on paint.

The mouth should have definitely had articulation. I don’t know why super7 never does mouth articulation.

Are there 2 variations? At bbts the pictures showed light brown pants. Yours is almost maroon.

The pics on BBTS would be promo images from pre-production. A drawback to S7's preorder sales model for these figs send to be that what's delivered isn't always exactly as advertised (Metalhead's paint, Leo's belt being silver, etc).

Great figure. Bit disappointed with the accessories. I would have liked a more detailed paint wise machine gun or even a couple new guns to pick from. Also the shield is very underwhelming and a strap for the greatness to be wearable would be nice. Being a bit picky but these are “Ultimate” figures and should be just that

You’re not alone, my tmnt ultimates wave 3 order (placed months ago) was pushed back from April to somewhere between September and 2022. No additional info from Super7. It sucks tbh.

Does the helmet come off? I was told it was removable and that's the reason why they didn't add a second head.

Cool sculpt, but IMO he’s too BIG! I feel like it’s going to set them up for disaster with other characters in the future. Metalhead in particular looks too small in comparison. A rhino is big, but a warthog isn’t as big. An articulated jaw would have been cool!

BBTS sent stock to folks that ordered the set. They haven't shipped singles yet. Entertainment Earth also had stock that they shipped.

this is the reason why i still chose neca over this line. neca still has more good designs that the super7. the only good in super7 tmnt line is bebop.
